I have worked in Healthcare for almost 9 years. I started very young & I enjoy working with people and helping them with anything they would need. It definitely makes me feel good knowing that I'm a very reliable person & someone can count on me.

I ABSOLUTELY love helping/caring for others, it makes me FEEL good,like I'm GIVING them freedom of living at home, a chance of living out the best where they have tons of memories, without having to be put into a care place! Having over 11+ yrs of experience of being a professional Personal Care Aide, in home & live in facilities , as well, I've worked with dementia patients as well as others who just needed a caring hand, and I'm a VERY compassionate person who is responsible and reliable. I CAN be on call if NEEDED! He had a feeding tube so I would have to puree his food as well as crush his medication and put it through the tube. I would do bed exercises with him and bed bathe him. Hi, Im Zakyah peferably "Kyah" and i have been doing caregiving since 2020. I find myself very caring, patient, and flexible, i have alot of compassion for helping others and definitely my elders, I am very big on trustworthiness due to me having great grandparents in their 80's who i also take care of when i can but as to me working i have to have a caregiver for them during the week , so i feel as if me knowing what i would want for the best care for them , showed me everything plus more of what i needed to do myself to be the best caregiver i could possibly be. Being with my great grandparents and being their caregiver and seeing how great i did with helping them inspired me to go into this feild and start helping others also, i enjoy caregiving alot. The thing i enjoy most about caregiving would have to be my confidence i always see the good in someone's condition or their abilities, i would also have to say being able to give back and help my elders , elders do alot throughout their lifetimes weather its helping others or just their daily lives during their early life, so i feel as if giving them the care they deserve is very necessary.
