My mom had Alzheimer's for 12!years and I helped take care of her so she could remain at home. After she passed away I thought it would be helpful to assist others in their homes. So later in the years I decided to pursue with being a caregiver. Then afterwards I received my CNA license to help with my skills more. Been in the health care field approximately 10years.

I'm 46 years old. I been married 19 years and have a 18 year old son who just graduated this year. I personally love being a caregiver. I've done it on and off for about 10 years now. I've always liked to help people and have customer service jobs but at the same time I knew I wanted to do more, so one day I was offered to be a caregiver and I accepted it and have loved it since. I was a private caregiver for almost a year and not to long after that I become a private caregiver for another lady for about the same time. I did get out of it for a little bit because when they passed away it was hard on me and I had to find away to deal with it because I knew in my heart it was what I was suppose to do and that's what brought me to Carelinx .
