My personality trait is that I'm a very genuine person and I love people. What attracted me to being a caregiver was being able to be there for someone's loved one when they can't. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the joy I can bring to not only the client but their family as well. My personal achievement that I am proud of is getting my Associates degree while being a mother and a wife.

Nice to meet you all! Caring for someone is like caring for my own family. My fun and positive attitude would help me be a great caregiver. Growing up I spent a lot of time caring for my own family members. My grandmother had Alzheimer's, stopped walking and had Diabetes.I was able to give her the love she always gave me when she was able to. I also had other family members I cared for as well. That is what really got me started. Watching her kids and loved ones not want to care for her got me there. Everyone deserves to be cared for properly and carefully. I love knowing that at the end of the day I made someone's day easier or better. I know it is hard on families at times. You want to be there but may not be able to. So for me I am the fill in, the one who is there to ensure you are cared for and needs are met. I also am a mother and had a premature child. I love being a mom and wife and someone people can count on and trust. In life I have seen someone people go with love or care and that is partly what drives me to do the stuff I do today. It got me into hair, cooking and caring for others. There aren't enough people who care or have compassion for others this day in age. I wouldn't want myself, children or loved ones to be unloved or cared for.

Hello. I have been a caregiver for 20 years.I love interacting with the elderly and learning things from them. I've always gone above and beyond when working. I love reading to them and singing or just going on walks. My clients are like my family, and I treat them as such.
