Also I take great pride in having been the caregiver for my uncle during his battle with stage 5 kidney failure. It was a deeply challenging and emotional journey, but being there to offer comfort, support, and love during their final moments brought a profound sense of fulfillment. It's an experience that will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I'm grateful to have been there for them in their time of need. My farther has high blood pressure & COPD, I am grateful to be a shining light during those critical moments, providing comfort, peace and a piece of mind to his daily life. Hello. My name is Melissa. I used to work in assisted living facilities back in the early 2000s. I have experience with the elderly along with alzheimer disease. My grandmother moved in with my family. I took care of her for about 7 years until she passed away 3 years ago. In the time I have taken care of someone in the last years of their life, I feel like I have helped them whether it is just sitting and listening to them talk about old times or helping with daily needs. I am proud of my 4 children. Through having to stay at our restaurant 6 days of the week, going to school and doing their homework, and going through the transition of life with their great-grandmother. They are tough and I am so proud of them.
