Hello My name is Loretta, Some of my personality trait or expertise that help me be a Great Caregiver are: I am a people person, enjoy working and helping people of all ages. This has been my dream of working in the medical field since I was young. I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, Dr. Office and cared for people in their homes over 30 years. What attracted me to this field was I use to go to work with my mother when I was in Jr. High School caring for patient in a nursing home, and the Private clients in their homes. I have not only cared for Seniors, Some of my jobs was caring for Babies, Children with disabilities and needed a caregiver I enjoy the most most is giving my help and support and bring joy to my clients, letting them know that I am there for them. My personal achievements I am proud of is Knowing that I was a help to my clients, doing the job that was needed to the best of my ability, and assuring them that while I was there, they could feel safe and enjoy being with me as much as I am with them, leaving them at the end of the day in a great Mood.

I am a fun, laid back, compassionate person. I am a believer that being professional does not mean not having fun or enjoying your job. I love being a caregiver because I love helping people. I enjoy making people's lives or even just days better; that is one of the things that gives me the most sense of accomplishment. A personal achievement in proud of is my perseverance as a mother. Being a mother turned my whole life upside down and it has been a hard journey. But as my kids get older, I can see my efforts paying off and I'm really proud of myself for the way I've raised them, because this is the most important job of my life. They make me fight harder, show up stronger, and never stay down.

I became a care giver because that is my passion assisting people in need whether young or old. What I like being a caregiver is that making sure my clients are safe and comfortable at all times in their own homes or were ever they maybe The personal achievement I have accomplished is that I become part of my clients family this is because I once have a client who is in hospice when I took over in caring for her she was removed from hospice. I really have special skills in caring for my clients whatever mood, pain or depressed they are I always do my utmost best to make sure they are ok. And for this reason my clients and their family always like me and don't want to lose me.

I am a very professional and dedicated caregiver. I have nearly five years experience of taking care of the elderly. Perhaps my background as a school teacher helps me a lot since I have lots of patience and care for my clients especially Alzheimer clients. I love what I do and I do it just as I would want my parents to be cared for or even myself, when I would need someone to care for me.

The daily routine of a caregive is very important and demanding, assist in daily activities, meal preparation, medication reminder, errands, house cleaning, ROM , conversation and transport to an appointments. So far with my experience as a professional caregiver i have worked different cases of demential, stroke, diabetic,anxienty disorder and hospice companionship and i am so glad to see some happy and those that fully recovered.
