Before I thought that I was a really patient person because I used to take care of my love ones,friends, neighbors,etc even when they've shown bad actitudes or behaviors or situations that you really need to understand , love , and accepts and be able to just offer them your help. But I realized that is not just patience what i need , is also compassion, and consciousness that we all need each other's as a human being. I think this is the most important part for being a great caregiver . When I discovered that ,I deside to become a caregiver ,and I love to be part of all this wonderful ladies, and gentlemen life's that I have been able to work with. I feel so blessed after so many years helping getting all the knowledges ,wisdom ,kindness,and so much love ,etc from them. I moved in from California six years ago and I still feel heartbreaking from my clients that I left back there but I have been in touch with all of them and that make me feel better, I have some references from all my clients and the agencies that I've been working with from California and now from my clients here in Shoreline,Seattle and Edmonds area that I've had the privilege to work with. My biggest strengths as a caregiver are my patience and compassion. I treat everyone with the respect they deserve and I am able to find a way to relate to and get along with everyone. I started my career as a caregiver first as a direct support professional for people with developmental disabilities, and I have since then transitioned to senior care with a focus on disabled veterans. I absolutely love this line of work, andI really enjoy being able to engage with people and assist them with daily living.

I worked for seventeen years as a home health care med certified caregiver , I have also worked on a critical care unit. Illiostomes, colostomies, aids patients , blood pressures ,diabetics also caring for people with physical and mental disabilities to keep them in there home . I cared for my mother while she was in my home to ensure her care was properly given until lung cancer finally ended her life . I worked 17 years as a care giver for mentally ill and mentally challenged individuals. I was med certified and still have my cpr card.

Hi everyone! I think I would be a great caregiver for you because this is my passion. I am currently majoring in Gerontology LTC Administration and love caring for individuals of all types. I am especially skilled in working with individuals who have Alzheimer's or Dementia. What I most enjoy about being a caregiver is the relationships that I build with people along the way.

I've always had this thing for helping people in need to support them and help them get better or just to be there when they most need someone there. Talking? a talker and a great listener. I love the moments where we get lost in a conversation while doing care for them, help get their mind off what I am doing and have the mood focused on good memories. I love greeting my residents also! Always a bubbly person even on the bad days but serious when need be. I also am naturally very calm and collected during emergencies and am able to do what needs to be done and help in every way I possibly can.
