Hello, and thank you for stopping by my profile here on carelinx. My name is Sarah Dobbins and I am dedicated to the care and wellness of your loved one. I got my start in elderly care at the young age of 10 years old. My parents built their own beautiful assisted living center when their parents needed that extra attention. They wanted to avoid the long hallways, strong odors, and seemingly lack of care and concern for our elders you often find in nursing homes. Your loved one is not a number among dozens to be dealt with. They are family, and I'm here to aid them in the sunset years of their life with authentic respect and compassion. After a service mission abroad where I volunteered at abused women's shelters, I obtained my license as a CNA and MAT and worked in health care communities in both Idaho and here in Oklahoma where I currently reside. I took a break to have 3 beautiful daughters and am excited to re-enter the workforce and develop connections and offer aid to your elderly again.

After nursing school, I worked @ nursing facility . I enjoyed very much caring for the elderly. After 10yrs, working I decided, to do private,work. I'm dependable trust worthy,& honest punctual. I care very much about my professional I have worked as a caregiver for 15 to 20 years.

My journey into Home Health, Hospice and Caregiving started unexpectedly and quite personally. My then 16-year old daughter was diagnosed with a very rare malignant brain tumor. Fast forward 21 years. Although I enjoyed a very successful career as an IT Consultant, it was not emotionally satisfying. I am a caregiver at heart. I have cared for a young woman, now a young adult since her diagnosis with muscular dystrophy as a child. This is on an as-needed basis and she now enjoys independence in her own home. Working with my elderly families has been extremely rewarding. And caring for someone in their final season of life is something God put me on this earth to do. I raise an amazing teen granddaughter and she keeps me young at heart. Her love for pets keeps me on my toes with her two dogs, one cat and Waldo - her turtle. I am enrolling in the WINGS program and will receive my Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA)/Home Health Aide Certification in fall of 2020. This will be immediately followed by their Medication Management Certification program. Although I have performed in these roles and more for two decades, I have only recently decided to accomplish these Certifications. *Note, Any overnight, weekend or holiday shifts will be on an exception basis only*

Hello , my name is Te'yah I am 20 years old I have been a caregiver for the past 3 and a half years . I have done meal preparation and planning for breakfast , lunch and dinner , small activities ( being hands on ) and nightly routines . The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the bond between me and them seeing me help their needs and lifestyle is what drives me to do the best I can also seeing them smile is so heartwarming . I have a few personal achievements that has driven me to be the upmost respectful person I can dream of as I grew up my grandmother became sick to where I was her personal caregiver and it has opened my eyes that being a great person brings out the great people around you that is willing to help and show you the world a way you haven't seen it !

After finishing my Certification Nurse aid training, I have been a caregiver for 2 and a half years now. I know it doesn't seem like a lot of experience but I have worked with many different kinds of residents. I have trained at a Nursing home, but have found I like working one on one with residents. So I became a private home caregiver, I love connecting with the family and the resident. I am proud of doing the very best I can for my residents from the start of my shift until the end of my shift and I like to make sure they are okay and well before I leave. That's just a small summary about me.

Hi I'm Andrea I want to tell you a little about me. I'm 37 and Married with a stepdaughter who I call my own. We have a cat named Jaspurr. We are located in Norman, Oklahoma. I believe my personality traits that would make me a great caregiver are openness to feelings, straightforwardness(being "frank, sincere, and ingnous") Warmth (being affectionate and friendly) Postive emotions, Competence, Outgoing, Willing to communicate with all parties involved with the person I'm caring for. Patience and understanding. I'm very outgoing and love to talk and learn new things. What attracted me to being a caregiver is from August of 2003 to May of 2004 I took a CNA Class and worked a few short months at the Arbor House in Mustang before getting married for the first time. I moved out of state and did not continue to follow a dream I had of becoming an RN so I have decided to do caregiving and work my way to an RN. I wanted to help those in need and felt that was what attracted me to doing caregiving. What I enjoy most about caregiving is helping those that need it most and for families to be able to not stress or worry about loved ones knowing they have someone like me that can keep their loved ones taken care of and keep them company and just someone to sit with them and listen to stories and many other things. A personal achievement for me is owning my very first brand new car 2021 Kia Rio. I feel another achievement for me is all the training I have taken the time to do on MyCNA Jobs and plan to do more.
