I am a caregiver with limited experience, however I bring empathy, dedication, and passion to every one of my positions in healthcare. I knew that I wanted to pursue a job in a health related field when I had seen my grandfather grow very ill due to a terminal cancer near the end of his life. I assisted with his care up until he had passed, which those experiences I am sure to never forget. I treat my clients like they are my own family because they are someone's loved ones and deserve to be treated with respect. I became a caregiver over four years ago because someone I was very close to needed a caregiver and was being mistreated by some of his caregivers he had so to stop him from being mistreated I took over their time to make sure he was being properly taken care of. Growing up with a family with mental illness helped me realize in the long run I'd like to help others find strength in getting through each day. One time my mom got so bad she paused on the phone and I asked her who she was talking to, and she stood silent for a long time because of how bad she was when she'd forget to take her medication. I moved closer to make sure I could be there for her. I genuinely love to be there, I'm young, I have a strong mind. I just want to help.
