I've been a caregiver for over 5 years. With such experience, I've learnt that offering assistance to someone who cannot do for themselves has its rewards - it is greatly appreciated from the person being helped and that is great fulfillment for me. I've also chosen to do this because I'm a nursing student with an interest to specialize in geriatrics.

Hi! Welcome to my page. Let me first tell you alittle about myself so you can measure if I would be a perfect fit for your family/ loved one. I've been in healthcare for over 10 years working in different settings from Rehabilitation, Nursing homes, Chiropractic care to individuals with disabilities. My roommate in College has Cerebral palsy so I helped her daily with your needs. I'm very familiar with many other disabilities as well. I am happily married now just wanting to offer help for others. I understand completely wanting to meet me first before so you can decide if I would be a good fit. That's no problem at all. I have recently submitted a back ground check so I can show proof of my clean history. I genuinely love people and helping others is my passion in life. I have worked as a Medical Assistant for agencies in the past however I find this way allows the family to choose who they feel most comfortable around. I have graduated with a Degree in Human Services with a minor in Disabilities. I'm an open person so your welcome to ask me questions or concerns you way have about myself. Enjoy your day! **Available on Friday's after 12 and Saturdays **

I believe I am the best caregiver because prior to becoming certified I look care of both my parents that were terminally ill. That is actually what made me decide on this field of work,I love caring for others and assisting others to accomplish task that they normally could not do on there own.My proudest accomplishments is when I had the privilege to work with an patient that was tramatic brain injury and I tought her to do the simplest task such as washing het face, brushing her hair and feeding herself among many other things that were once a struggle for her.

The age of my clientele has ranged from 3 to 104. Wherever you are I can go to get to you. If you are in a facility and you want me there I can be there. I am a huge advocate for my clients and I have a zero tolerance policy for maltreatment or neglect. I have always had great compassion for those who are sick, the elderly, and disabled. I began my caregiving by volunteering for Hospice for seven years. CNAs happily taught me how to do bed baths, empty urinals, and even how to change bed linens with patient still in bed. I am comfortable, and have experience in just about all facets of caregiving, which includes personal hygiene, including bathing, feeding, safely transferring patient from bed to chair, etc. I am comfortable using a Hoyer lift, and have changed and sanitized urine bags. Upon moving to a new city I began doing home caregiving as a way of paying my bills, and family recommendations kept me busy. I have enjoyed caring for the ELDERY with all kinds of medical problems, and DISABLED people, as well. In addition to passing the background check required for this site, I have a LEVEL II BACKGROUND CHECK which is far deeper than this site requires. I have taken and passed the HHA test, although I did not take the class. I am CPR certified, have had a two step TB test, I presently work for a local caregiving agency, but they are unable to provide me with enough hours, so I am eager to get full time hours! I have many references I can give if you are interested in knowing more. I prefer days, but I am open for any schedule.

I used to work in a unit of dementia and alzheimers so I do have experience working with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. I also have my First Aid and CPR Certification up to date, I have a recommendation letter from my previous client, I am bilingual, have a Medical Assistant certification and also have a certification for my Emergency Medical Technician. I have a lot of patience when I comes anything. I do love to cook healthy meals. I can also do light house keeping if you would need me to. I do have my own transportation so im available to also do few food shopping and take to doctors appointments. I'm also pet friendly is the client has a pet. The reason why I should get hired is because first i know how its like to look for care for a loved one and worry if they will do a good job. I've been there when my grandma was very delicate and was in my care. Also my experience on working on this field has brought me joy and love. I do my best at bringing laughter and happiness to every client. I love the satisfaction I get from everyone that I help. I love putting a smile on everyone's faces.
