Hello my name is Jermaine Humphreys and I'm from Mason Tn I'm 35 yrs old I have a twin brother and I love helping people .

I am currently at student at Jackson State Community College and on my way to becoming a Registered Nurse. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is my drive to be able to help others, and I want the experience so it will help me with my nursing career more.

What makes me a caring, patient, loving caregiver is not only caring for my mother, but becoming one myself. Having a toddler has made me into the most tolerant and exuberant person. I am interested in being a caregiver for many reasons. Not everyone gets the choice to take care of their loved ones, I did. So that genuinely has inspired me to be there for your loved ones when you cant be. I take great pleasure in helping others. Since becoming a mother I find myself helping anyone I can. Whether it be returning a cart for an elderly couple or changing a tire for someone in a cast on 385. A personal achievement I am so proud of is the ability to pass on the art that is southern cooking that my Mother and Grandmother and Great grandmother taught me. Food brings people happiness. Brings back good memories. Being able to make something for someone that their mama used to make them as children is amazing. The light in their eyes is worth any and all work it took to prepare.

* I'm a loving , caring and understanding young lady. I've been a in home care provider For approximately 2 years with the special needs community in Bartlett Tn. *The smile that your service recipient gives you when you have helped them accomplish something they've longed to want to do. *Knowing that with everything that is going on throughtout the world , that I'm actually doing positive, selfless, unconditional acts to help assist with putting a smile on someone elses face. *After doing well at mutiple homes that have clients from the agency I work for , I've been able to become a floater which means I have gotten the attention of other home managers and clients , that asks for me to be trained on working with their service recipients ! As a trained Stephen Minister and cancer survivor, I can relate to most concerns. I have transferred my skills many times as I followed my husband's career path. I am dependable, empathetic, yet determined when clients need me to encourage them. I am willing to do light housework and prepare meals.

I am a licensed CNA I love helping and being their for someone. I have a good personality a lot of people say that I am a very caring person I'm a nice bubbly type person and I love to put a smile on someone else's face. What really made me want to become a caregiver is knowing that there are so many people in the world who are lonely depressed or just sad and I was like that at one point in my life and when I was going through that I wanted someone to talk to love me hug me tell I'm here to help you. So I want to be that person that they can come to talk to and I want to be there to give them love something that everyone needs in life. The best reward you can get by being a caregiver know that you made someone's day or time in their life feel like they where still loved.

I am a college student graduating in December of 2018. I have had cases from PTSD,brain injuries,d.i.d, austium, and I have a worked in hospice care for my Intership.
