What makes me a great caregiver is that I am very patient and I love what I do it makes me feel really good to help others . What attracted to me to become a caregiver is the love I have for others I love helping and making others day. The thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is putting a smile on my clients face and make sure there comfortable and feel good . Working through home health and dealing with a range of clients, I have learned how to manage and take care of certain clients. The main conditions in which people have been under that I have taken care of, was with paraplegics. Working with these people, I have learned how to communicate with them, do certain things to their liking, operate hoyer lifts, and help navigate through their everyday life ensuring they are the most comfortable and happy. I have worked worked with a select few as well that suffered from dementia and altzheimers. With the year I've worked for addus I have learned how to deal with certain conditions in which people face, such as the dementia and Alzheimer's. I have also learned how to work through task and problems that may come up with people suffering from these diseases. A good trait I would say for myself, is being able to remain calm, and professional in difficult situations. Another good trait is I'm a fast learner on learning how certain clitents like certain things to be done, and when they like it to be done. I'm good on getting on a routine schedule with clients. It makes it not only easier for me, but for them as well.

I am patient and spiritual with my clients and I provide genuine support and help them whenever I can. I'm also understanding and sincere to their needs .My ultimate goal is to make sure my client is comfortable.

I started This career when my grandfather needed help as he got older and ever since I have been in love with caring for the elderly and the disabled.
