Two things that I love and enjoy doing is helping children and the elderly. My grandparents raised me from birth and they were my best friends until they passed. I've learned through raising 3 children and now having grandchildren that life is much more enjoyable by having patience and living every day to the fullest. Knowing that by simply being there and helping someone really adds warmth to my heart.

I am very kind towards everyone I meet, I've never met a stranger. I'm understanding to the needs of the patient and will meet expectations that are required of me as a caregiver. I've always wanted to help people ever since I was little and grew up watching my mother do this job and sometimes I'd go with her and help her when she needed it. The one thing I enjoy the most from being a caregiver is making a difference in someone's life and helping them to get better if they're wheelchair bound and start standing in their own or even just giving them a listening ear. I am a 41 year old Happy Mother of a sweet 20 year old Wonderful son. Most of my adult life ive just been a mother and all my choices were about my son, now is time for me. I love camping and living a simple life, and i love my animals. I have been a caregiver in one form or another most of my life because I love to help people. I have had several part time caregiver roles over the years and helped many families take care of there loved ones and i have good references if needed. I have also been a child care provider from my home and i love to help and take care of children as well. I have those references as well if needed. I am told i am a great caregiver because i am very compassionate, patient, loving and i treat everyone like family. I enjoy being a caregiver most when i help a person i am caring for reach a personal goal or when i am praised for going above and beyong. My proudest personal achievement is my son, seeing him be grown and making a life for himself and now getting to go on and make a new life for myself that's about doing what I want to do and what is best for me.

I am a mother of 4, almost all grown. I became a caregiver for seniors 4 years ago. I fell in love with my job and was promoted very quickly to a coordinator and then a director. I obtained my Assisted Living Administrators License in 2017. I missed the hands on care though, and was on call 24/7/365 to staff for call offs. I was working 60+ hours weekly. The residents were my heart and soul, they were all like my own family, but staff issues made me no longer enjoy working in the office environment. I would like to get back to hands on care and make a difference in someone's life. My goal is to be able to help a family so that they can enjoy the time they have with their loved one and I can help take some of the day to day needs off the family so that they can focus on spending quality time with their loved one.

Have assisted with mother in law who battled and beat stage 2 lung cancer. Father is a diabetic and help care for him when back home in Nebraska. Use to help my grandmother take care of an elderly woman when I was 14 who had dementia. I am great with all kids and elderly assistaning. Great with dogs as I have two of my own.
