Hello my name is Esmeralda and I chose to be a caregiver at a young age I guess u can say . My grandmother raised me and she was the first person I took care of and I fell in love with it . I have patience and I love to sit with them and chat . They need someone to care for them as well as hear them out . Hear their stories hear them out , see their face light up knowing they are cared for . My only down fall is I get attached and it hurts my heart when I see them go . U loose a small piece of your heart . I love my job

I have cared for many elderly, I enjoy taking great care of my residents/ clients, I am gentle, and work well under pressure, I listen and advise of what I am going to be doing so that they know exactly what is going on or may wanna assist with the task. I took care of my grandmother until her last days, that is what got me to enjoy this profession so much.

I started off by taking care of my grandmother at the age of 13. She and i grew a bond that i'm hoping to share with others. I have provided with transportion, medication reminders, meal prepping, house cleaning and companionship. I am a friendly individual and a caring person. I also have previous experience with caregiving.

I started care giving with my grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's/dementia. I found myself enjoying the time I spent with her and even after she passed I looked for a job in caring for the elderly. They enjoy ones company.

As a great caregiver I try to remain very positive all the time. I am an honest and trust worthy person Being patient, responsible, dependable and have great communication skills with my patients is at the most important to me. As a caregiver I am very empathetic towards my patients and compassionate, it is what establishes a great relationship with each patient. Understanding the patients needs and desires to be able to take care of them efficiently is at the most important to their family and myself. It is what makes work environment healthier and understanding for patient and healthcare worker. I became a caregiver to be able to help those who cant help themselves, to try and help them build the confidence some may have lost during some difficult moments they must have gone through if it may have been through some therapy, or a on going treatment they are still facing. Offer those encouraging words we all need to hear from time to time, show them some one cares if they have no one else to turn too. Being a caregiver gives me great feeling knowing that I have made a difference in someones life. When I see a patient has recovered more that 50 percent it gives me great joy to know I have made a difference in someones life. To have a patient to being speechless to even a good morning is a huge difference to me. Its what makes me want to go to work every day and know I will continue to make a difference in someones life.

I am a caring compassionate and love to be around people!!! I can provide superior care and at the same time spend quality time w patients who may need so help to obtain the life they so need to thrive in their everyday life to be happy and bring a precious smile to their face!!! I come all of that and more!!! I come w plenty of experience in geriatrics, Alzheimer's, adults with special needs/disabilities, autism, and or specialty diseases.

I have alot of conpashion. I became a caregiver because Iove to help people. I like about being a caregiver is that I meet diffrent people. Personal achivment is to make there life easier.

I have managed finances, my home, and volunteered in the military community as a former Navy wife and Support Group President/Ombudsman for the USS Camden. I am successfully raising 5 daughters and a son all while earning an Associates and I'm in the process of completing a Bachelors. I am strong, independent, reliable, dependable, trustworthy, without bias, career focused, goal oriented and determined to succeed. I try and set the example for my children and learn from my mistakes to constantly improve myself not only in my personal life but my work environment as well.
