Hi, I am a mom of 4. One of my kids have a heart disease which has landed him with 3 open heart surgeries all before he was 3. I am dedicated to my work and love for people. My dream has always been in the medical field so I can help people. I can not wait to extend my family with being a caregiver to someone that needs me.

My grandparents raised me and so automatically I have always loved the elderly. I received my certification for nurses aide in 2008 and have worked at various nursing homes since then. I love helping these people and hearing their stories. A personal achievement for me is whenever one of my elderly clients tells me "thank you for all that you do." I like to believe that somehow I have made a difference in their lives for that day.

I will be a great caregiver because I love working with the elderly I love meeting new people I love doing as asked I love socializing with the elderly and even their families.what attracted me to being a caregiver was because I have experienced taking care of my grandmother who had passed away and I have experience taking care of other clients I love working with the elderly due to the fact that I love helping I love being a helper. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I not only get to bring a smile to the client's face but I also am there to talk to the client I am open with them to let them know that they could talk to me about anything and what I am told I keep it to myself I do not share it with anybody else. My personal achievement that I am very proud of is that I am a genuine lady who loves helping the community and who loves helping the elderly people I love to spread my care and my compassion for the elderly to the client that I have I love making my clients smile I love walking out with a smile when you make your client smile that means that you are doing something right!

When I started out as a caregiver I looked forward to spending time with people who I knew I could share life with as I served and assisted them with daily living needs. It has been such a rewarding experience as I have been able to do this and gain the rewarding benefit of working for and with people. I enjoy the opportunity to be able to help others with their ADL's that they need assistance with and to see them perform tasks independently when they are able to. My patience, the time I spend with them, and my positive energy are a few of my strengths that also help me to succeed as a strong caregiver. I understand that every person is different and at a different stage or place in life. It is a joy for me to help a client and to share life with the people that I care for.

I am a very dependable and caring caregiver. I always put my client's needs first. It also helps that i have customer service skills because it makes it easy to talk to new clients and thier family. I am professional at all times and capable of handling any emergencies that mey come my way.

I enjoy helping people it was instilled by my mother blecause she helped a lot of people.Every Thanksgiving I deliver meals to the shutins .I feel rewarded doing that.

Hi, my name is Savannah. I worked for about 2 years as a home health aid and I've worked in nursing homes. I strive to give the best care I can to all elderly or otherwise patients. I'm a great cook, so preparing meals is something I enjoy doing. I also love making sure my patients can move safely from bed to a chair or any other. I'm very good with animals so I can as well help care for pets, clean and make sure my patients are taking the proper medication at the right times. I've always loved caring for someone, as I am a mother of 3 beautiful children.

A few of my personality traits that make me a great caregiver is I like to find humor in every situation, if you can laugh as opposed to allowing yourself to get upset or emotional that's a win. I love spending time with people, talking, visiting, helping if I can, I would want someone to do that for me one day. I am a Christian so serving/helping people is something I've been doing all my life. I wouldn't say that anything "attracted" me to it, my husband's mother was diagnosed with Dementia a few years ago and he and his sister (whom she lived with) both worked full time jobs so I was able to help care for her on almost a daily bases up until she passed. I realized how important just me being there was, she didn't need to be left alone, nor should anyone else for that matter. If I can be there for someone else's loved one when they can't, I consider that a blessing. The enjoyment comes with just getting to know a person, building trust with that person, friendship, I enjoy being honest, a person you can count on and trust to keep you safe.

I became a caregiver due the fact I needed a job. But it became a passion I realized I enjoyed caring for others .
