Hello! My name is Beth. I am 37 years old & the mother to 2 boys (19 & 8). Throughout my entire life I have been referred to as an "old soul", often relating to & befriending folks over 60. I have always cherished what their generation has to share & what they've given to us. Listening to them recall their past & share advice is honestly the most rewarding bonus about being a caregiver! I truly believe caregiving was what I was called to do & I'm so thankful it's my passion! I have over 15 years of experience, mostly with seniors & working with Dementia/Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, & terminal illness. I assist my clients by providing companionship & help w/ bathing, dressing, meal prep, laundry, house keeping, dishes, meds, appts, shopping, transportation, scheduling, keeping care logs, & any other daily needs. I have experience working w/ the Hoyer lift & wheelchair (both manual & electric). I do my best to get clients up & around, keeping their blood flowing and muscles strong. Being a caregiver is more than a job, it's my true calling. Helping people in need is something that I truly enjoy. I am a mother of two and want the best for my children. That love and compassion carries over into my career. Caregivers are called into very delicate situations and our job is to alleviate stress for clients and their family. A "good" caregiver can truly make a difference in a person's life.

I am very outgoing I love taking care of the elderly I have a passion for what I do. Making sure they are Happy and getting the care they need and deserve. Treating them with love and respect. My 1st caregiver job was my Aunt that was very sick. I took care of her until the end of life. And then my grandparents. And it just went on from there. And I knew it was my calling. Because I loved what I did. What I like most is the wisdom and conversations of there life the things they did when they were young. It's amazing to sit down vh and just listen and give thembloge and attention. I am most proud of the many Elderly people that I have taken care of and known in the 31+ years I have been a caregiver and I wouldn't change it for anything it taught me a lot. I learned so much from every patient. And that has been my greatest reward and Achievement.

I became a caregiver because, I have great compassion for individuals in need of personal one on one care. 3. Their are several reasons why I like being a caregiver. The first reason is that I am able to be there for individuals that are in need of help. Another reason I enjoy being a caregiver is because, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and after the cancer she went into remission. Shortly afterwards, she was diagnosed with dementia. Recently she was diagnosed with Parkinson. I eventually had to move her into my home and I realized how self fulfilling and rewarding it is to serve others with sincere humility. I feel that as a caregiver each individuals that I care for should receive the best of care, compassion, and the best quality of care that life has to offer. 4. My most greatest achievement is yet to come because, I'm looking to achieve more tomorrow than I have today. Life is a lifelong learning process and when you think that you have achieved your greatest achievement there is still room left for more improvement.

I'm very passionate about being a Caregiver. I never had the pleasure of meeting any of my grandparents so I have always wonder what it felt like. So being a Caregiver has introduced me to wonderful people. I have enjoyed baking cookies, listening to old love stories, as well as old war stories. I can surely see and feel how special grandparents and Elderly really are. I love the warmth of smiles, the hugs, and the sincere gratitude that's shared. I love just being a trustworthy companion to the most vulnerable. It's really heartfelt.

What makes me a great caregiver my heart is about the client and they care and well bein and making sure they are cared for properly and have a companionship with there making it about them letting them know they are still loved and no matter what I'm there for any needs to be met by them I became a caregiver because I use to go to work with my mom and watch her care for her clients and I always told myself I wanted to be someone who could be there for someone who could not be there for themselves and I want them to know I'm there for them and they are like family to me in anyways to be I being doing this over 20 yrs I have well experience caring for patients in there homes in the assist facilities and nursing home home I even worked in group homes I know how to use the hoyer lift and transfers meal prep dealing with medication reminders and doing the medication ADL for the clients cooking, cleaning , grooming went to the Doctor appointments and having a companionship with them letting them know it's about them and not me because my duty is to make sure they are comfortable

Empathy, I strive to treat all my patients/clients the way I would like to be treated by others. I put the needs of my clients first and strive to meet their needs and put a smile on each of my clients face. I feel happy when my clients smile and are happy. I am very dependable, compassionate and dedicated to my work.

I have been raised by my grandmother and have been with her until she passed away. She has a hip replacement and I was taking care of her all the time and I loved doing it. That's why I become a caregiver,because I am a very compassionate person who is caring and very responsible. I love talking Care of people specially for the elderly and sick one. And wherever I went to work with, patient and their families really appreciate what I do and they let my employer know, and I was very proud of myself.
