I understand the needs of seniors, their individual care and respect their need for preservation of ' self-respect & identity. I have 20+ years in diversified care needs for seniors. I took care of my own mother the last 10 years of her life with heart, stroke an finally cancer Health issues. I went back to college to pursue Health ENT & medical administrative needs. But my expertise @ demeanor lended itself into the world of caring for seniors. I began a 501c non-profit foundation to grant the final wishes of seniors with less than a year to live with my mother"s inheritance to me. It has granted neatly 250 final wishes @ is reun by a 'Board of Director's' out of Antioch, CA. It is called 'An Elderly Wish Foundation.' I am widowed 2 years now @ spend my time independently employed to care for seniors. I am in excellent health @ do gym work-outs regularly. I like to 'meet' my clients before committing to their care. It is important for our relationship to be compatible, so I am 'clear' on their individual needs. I only want to work part time for one long term client...and would relocate my apartment closer to their city if the match was mutual. I am a strong Christian woman and I walk daily ' in Gods Word'

I would always look in the newspaper and see that CNA is always needed so I took the time and patients and signed up for the class. I am proud to say I love what I do and what I can do for the residents..

Hi, my name is Sophia! I'm a junior in college and am majoring in Nursing. My passion for serving others definitely lead me to this profession, as the relationships I build with others motivate me to make sure they are provided with the most outstanding care. I used to be nurse aide at a nursing home and rehabilitation center and would watch over 20 clients at a time. As a nurse aide, I witnessed the elderly being afraid of being taken advantage of or being neglected. Thus, fostering relationships with my clients were they feel trust and heard is one of my top priorities.
