Hello my name is Lacey, I am happily married with 3 children, in our free time we love to spend time in the woods as a family or taking random day trips with our kids! I absolutely love being a caregiver because I love making people feel important and wanted on even some of their worst days. I have completed EMT-B school but with 3 kids an ambulance schedule isn't really something I am looking for, and caregiving is my true passion. I absolutely love and adore elderly people (my husband gives me a hard time about always wanting to take them home with us when we see them in public lol). Let me start by stating, entrusting a stranger with the life of a loved one or yourself can be quite daunting. Being a caregiver is much more than technical qualifications; it requires heart, soul, laughter, patience, compassion, and human nature at its most vulnerable state. This is why I am passionate about what I do. I have a very colloquial personality which keeps me fluid with other personalities. I have cared for elders in my community and I enjoy helping them preserve their independence as long as possible and becoming enriched with their history. I am proud of achieving the knowledge of my self worth and the worth of others, along with growth through writing and photography. I have experience with Parkinson's patients as well, and that has been a crowning honor for myself. I am also well versed in Alzheimer's, Dementia and MS. I am a very seasoned caregiver (14 years experience) with an aptitude beyond standardized care. More so, I find myself living through the wisdom and history of each person's story and take that knowledge through my own journey. My name is Charmarie Allen, I am happy to be able to offer the service of helping people that need it. I feel that everyone should be able to receive the care they need, what started this for me was when my father was ill and needed a caregiver my mother and I were all he had. I am proud to say that I am in the position to be able to offer my services to families. I love being able to help others. I am not Covid vaccinated but am willing to take a covid test at anytime for my patients or their families to give them peace of mind.

Have always had a respect and admiration for our elderly. Helping, seeing them smile and laugh makes me smile. I have spent 20 years in the health field arena. Seventeen of those in clinical research as a coordinator. For 12 years I have worked part time as a caregiver, evenings and weekends , providing companionship, an awareness of medical needs, spiritual inspiration, planned activities and hospice care. I have certificates and training in CPR, Alzheimer's, Professional Caregiver Education, Advanced CareGiver Training, medical terminology and phlebotomy.

I cared for my Mother who had cancer for years first until she passed . I have worked in several nursing homes with dementia clients caring for their hair and nails . For the last three years ; I have cared for two clients with dementia as well as other medical needs . I am always available to my clients and their needs . I try and make every day an adventure for each person and help them to smile .

I think I make a great caregiver because I actually and genuinely care for my clients and I put my clients needs before I put my own and I'm very attentive and will listen to what they have to say

Caregiving is the ultimate act of love. Caregiving changed perspective on life! My mother took care of my grate grandmother when I was little. She would let me help and it ment the world to me making them smile! My giving nature and my nurturing desire to help those in need is how I knew caregiving was for me. My greatest achievements are the moments I get. I have learned while my patient say they couldn't get through this without me, I am the one who gets the biggest gift of all! All my patients have enriched my life in many ways!

Caregiving is my calling and I absolutely love caring and taking care of other. I've always been the caretaker type with even people and friends. I love elderly people and became a caregiver years ago while doing a Bible study on Gods given purpose. I believe taking care of elderly is my God given gift. I love the companionship, enjoy all the visiting and caring for what they can't on their own. I also enjoy outings with them.

I have over 7 years experience caring for the elderly here in the States and back in Africa this includes, people in the wheelchair the blind, Alzheimer, Dementia. It is a great feeling to put smiles on every needy person, it also bring joy to my heart knowing l am making a difference to someone's life seeing them being transformed.
