Hello my name is Rachel. I recently just moved back to Virginia a year ago. I've been a caregiver for 10 years. I love being a caregiver and helping bring happiness to someone's life. I can help with transporting to Doctors, cooking, laundry, bathing, exercising, light house cleaning, companionship, I know how to use a Hoyer lift. Of course I can transfer with gaitbelt (as needed). I treat all my clients like family as that is how I got into doing this type of profession. I took care of my grandparents in hospital beds inside our living room for years up until their very last breath. I take that same type of compassion with me to every clients house I go to. I love the smile I get when I'm at work and I'm doing my job and the family has somebody that really cares and enjoys there job.I would say my biggest personal achievement would have to be continuing my education but the most important one was having beautiful kids and becoming a mother.

I took on being a Caregiver when my Dad took sick with The Big C.....i care for him at home until he died....My brother pass in between..then I took care of my Mommie...She couldnt walk..until she died..I love people and caring for them ...im a DEACON in my Church..I am true too heart taking care of people and family.I also took care of an eldely couple until their death...I was with them for 2years.....the family really loved my work....they really blessed me for all i did for their parents...I cook,wash clothes as well..

I am a single mother of three who began caring for my elderly grandmother who was also diabetic at a very young age. I grew up in a community where the elders took care of you and you of them.
