I started as a caregiver many years ago. I've always been an achiever and pretty much do anything I put my mind to. I've been in retail, management, business owner, but found my passion as a caregiver. I've taken care of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke patients, congested heart failure patients, etc. My client's become my family and love what I do as a private caregiver. I have references, certificates, and letters of recommendation. It gives me great satisfaction in taking care of new clients in the area and proud of what I do!

I started caregiving about 9 years ago. I had a family member who had referred me to a caregiving job. I immediately fell in love with the work. I enjoy helping people. If I can make someone's life just a little bit better and put a smile on their face, it makes it all worth it.

I became a CNA in 2010 and worked as one until 2016 when I became a Registered Nurse. I am continuing with prn nursing along with caregiving. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love helping others. It started when I was about 16 years old. My mother was a licensed foster home for adults with disabilities, and when I turned 18 I did respite for her when she would need. From there I began working in different environments providing care, whether it was nursing homes or assisted living or in home care.

I am a very empathetic person and have always had a desire to help others. I have 6+ years professional experience as a caregiver and have a 22 year old autistic son plus many more years of personal experience. I enjoy knowing that I am making a difference to someone. I am proud of the fact that I have been an effective advocate for my son, and others.
