My name's Mariah. Being a caregiver is something I've done seems all my life. I grew up on a hobby farm and had many animals. I was there caregiver. They thought me responsibility, respect, patience, kindness, and much more. I chose this career path because of my father. He was very I'll in my teen years. I learned about heart disease and skin cancer. He's now in heaven cheering me on. I also took care of my aunt who had kidney disease and spina bifida. My family has taught me a lot about living life to the fullest. That's why I enjoy being a caregiver because everyone should live life to the fullest each and every day. My goals are to make everyone smile and forget there problems, even when you don't feel well a laugh is always a step forward. When I leave my shift at the end of the day, I want my clients to know there cared for, respected, and most of all safe. My clients are MY BOSS. I'm willing to go above and beyond. When family's get tired I'm here, I'm there back bone. I'm always willing to help give advice or be a listening ear. Please remember it's harder for the person then you! Always keep a smile!

What makes me a good home care aide is my dedication to what I do. I give my best to serve / help my client in any way I can. I became a home care aide because I want to work with and help seniors. I believe that taking care of them is like taking care of my own mother. Aside from having the chance to serve / help seniors, what I like about being a home care aide is its flexible work schedule. Seeing my client satisfied and happy with what I do for him / her is a personal achievement I am proud of.

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one on one interaction with others. I enjoy taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. Its essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help by showing empathy and compassion,I let my patient know I care about them I do what I can to help, not because I have to but because I want to im patient reliable and trustworthy. Caregivjng in itself is a huge personal accomplishment and im proud of my resourcefulness,flexibility and determination even with a difficult patient caregiving can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life.

My passion for the health field is phenomenal. I love what I do for a living and my mission in life is to take care of all God's people. I'm fully trained with hoyer lifts, transfers, bathing, feeding and ect. I enjoy helping others and bring light to people lives!

I am a compassionate, empathetic, outgoing and trustworthy person. I started caregiving because I love working with people they have so many good stories to share. I recently went to school to get my nursing assistant certification, on my way to be a nurse.

A few things about me that would give you a good idea on who I am. I am a huge patient person, I am big on being family oriented which is great because I tend to treat everyone like family, I have a huge heart that is overly passionate. I take pride in my caregiving and make sure I always am providing the best possible care to you while always having a warm welcoming smile on my face. I am very dependable, I want to be someone you can count on that is what attracts me to being a caregiver. I am proud of taking care of my great grand mother who suffered from lung cancer and I cared for her for 5 years out of high school which stopped me from pursuing college right out of school but that was one the most rewarding decisions I have ever made for myself. I want to be a companion, housekeeper, and a reliable caretaker just for you!

There are many qualities that make one a great caregiver. My qualities are that I try to do my best when working with residents as well as trying to understand them. Aging out does not mean they do not have needs or that they should not be heard, I try to use critical thinking and make every resident as comfortable as possible so their needs are being met. I am an outgoing person I love to help others and exceed my job expectations, I am a carrying person who is easygoing and takes responsibilities as well as the needs of others seriously. I have a grandfather with dementia and this made me want to help others who need an assistant. I have seen the lack of caregivers there is for elders. I love caregiving because it allows me to have a better understanding of what goes on in others' life and I get to be part of people's life making a difference in assisting them or bringing them a smile. I am proud of the person I am and how far I have gotten with my psychology and social work bachelors that I am currently working on.

My mom use to be a CNA doing in house work and I loved watching her do what she did & I got inspired and I been doing this for 4 years now and I love it more every year .

I have been a caregiver for mental disable clients for 10 years and also taking care of hospice clients as well. Doing ADL and also provide transportation 3 meals a day and medication 3 times a day. Light housekeeping
