I an 43 yrs old. I have been a CNA for 13 year. I am reliable,caring,flexible,organized and efficient . I became a caregiver because I have always liked helping people. I like the in home setting better then a nursing home because it is more relaxed and clients feel like they are able to do more for themselves. Believe it or not I used to be pretty shy but I was a waitress and now I love working with people. I also went to school to be a MA. I have much more educational background.

I became a caregiver because of the love i have for people .I enjoy spending time with the elderly .I am a very down to earth dependable person who is a.single mother of a teenager. I been in the medical field since i was 16 years old and would never change it for anything in the world I feel this is my destiny to vare for the elderly to want to remain at home for their last days.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I put my heart and soul into it. I was put here to help people. And it makes me proud and happy to do so. I became a caregiver because I wanted to do something different with my life, something meaningful. Growing up my mother was a CNA. I loved going to work with her and helping the residents. As soon as I became a caregiver I knew it was the perfect fit. The things I love most about this line of work is the feeling I get every single day when I leave. I leave knowing that I was able to help someone. Even on the rough days, I am grateful for the opportunity the HELP in any way. Some of my personal achievements are that 2-3 months after I started at Aspen Acres I was promoted to team lead. Which meant on my shifts I would lead my group of caregivers. The thing I loved most is that no matter what was happening I could help my team get through it. Aspen was my first job as a caregiver, so for me, that's one of my proudest moments.

I've been a CNA since 1999 and worked at Water's Edge Care Center/ Senior Apartments for the last 11 1/2 years. I have an associates degree in nursing from LCOCC.

I have so much experience taking care of people ! I took care of both of my parents since I was 7 years old . I had lots of responsibility in their care. Showering , catherizing , digital stimulation . And much more . Both of my parents had MS . I also took my Nurses Aide at a tech school . Many years later , I worked in an Adult Foster Care . Did bathing , cooking , cleaning , laundry , meds and much more . Than I worked in a Pharmacy ! My seniors were so amazing . They loved me .
