There are many qualities that make one a great caregiver. My qualities are that I try to do my best when working with residents as well as trying to understand them. Aging out does not mean they do not have needs or that they should not be heard, I try to use critical thinking and make every resident as comfortable as possible so their needs are being met. I am an outgoing person I love to help others and exceed my job expectations, I am a carrying person who is easygoing and takes responsibilities as well as the needs of others seriously. I have a grandfather with dementia and this made me want to help others who need an assistant. I have seen the lack of caregivers there is for elders. I love caregiving because it allows me to have a better understanding of what goes on in others' life and I get to be part of people's life making a difference in assisting them or bringing them a smile. I am proud of the person I am and how far I have gotten with my psychology and social work bachelors that I am currently working on.

I offer all services; personal care, bathing, dressing, cleaning, cooking, shopping, light yard work. You can pretty much name it, and I've got you! Im pretty well rounded when it comes to all skills and tasks.

I am observant & safety minded. I work well with your loved ones & all pets. I help with transportation, ADLs, working w/in dietary needs, running errands, light housekeeping, organizing, shopping, meal prep, time management, end of life and companionship, etc. I love helping people become the best they can be. Humor is good. Seriousness has its place. Compassion is a must. I notice how to help fill in the gap most of the time! I do CNA work w/o heavy lifting. I'm hospice oriented. I'm skilled with over 20 yrs expr. & was care manager for up to 12 caregivers, doing scheduling, hiring, & training, & supervising. I am confidential, trustworthy, loyal, & dependable. Family dynamics are respected. My approach is listening & sharing w/consideration, & empathy. I also will help you navigate through the process to the best of my ability because of my experience in managing, supervising caregivers and scheduling. I'm well aware. This helps when someone cannot express themselves well. I've tended to many different types of in-home care situations and have always worked within the family's dynamics often continuing our friendships beyond the moment or not. I'm Celia and I have been serving others my entire life in my occupational fields of HR, education and now nursing as well as in my community as a Girl Scout leader, religious education teacher and moms/tots founder and organizer. I was a leader for an SOS trip to Memphis TN in Orange Mound to build roofs and create gardens for the well deserved residents in that neighborhood. I have raised 4 children who are all currently in college in the areas of Marine Biology, Nursing, Computer Science and Construction Management. I am resilient, outgoing, dependable, caring and compassionate. I enjoy serving others and helping them to be their very BEST version of theirselves no matter what biological age or journey they are currently on. I am open and honest at all times and culturally competent. I serve my church as a greeter and cookie baker and have always been happiest while serving other and helping to make their day brighter!

I'm very outgoing loving caregiver, I love elderly and children. I am a huge animal lover and I love to build relationships with my clients and treating them as my family. My attraction to becoming a caregiver began when my Opa was diagnosed with Alzheimer and dementia, I took care of him and grew love for the field and became very attached to everyone that I took care of. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is starting school and working my way up to starting my own assisted living and home care business.

I think what makes me a good care giver is that I try my best to give the best care I can to the person or persons I care for what attracts me to this is just that I can make a difference in someone else's life doing some small things for them what I like about being a care giver is that I can make the person I care for feel comfortable and not stressed about how they will be able to do things for them selves the greatest achievement that I have made is that my two oldest daughters grew up to be caregivers too and they are both wonderful at their jobs and I'm proud of both of them.

My name is alexandra!! I became a caregiver because I wanted to help people, my grandpa torwards the end of his life needed a lot of help and I would stay with him and care for him.
