I learn from day to day through out my Dailey task and use it as a tool to create a positive mentality to carry on I grew up in a household most of my family became a care giver and teacher because we love giving back to the community in any possible way of help I like to bund with my clients to build a trust and companionship, and learn from each other. I've learnt to listen and put myself in there shoes to understand them and do my best to my knowledge to help.

Ive been a caregiver the majority of my adult life...i was fortunate to have a husband who was the primary provider, allowing me to make a home for our family. Im a taditional wife and took complete care of our family. Im a clean housekeeper, anExcellent cook, and a nurturing is my passion. Im kind, and patient,and very compassionate. Im Cheerful and funny, there has never been a shortage of laughter in my home; i miss that now that my kids are grown.. I enjoy the little thing life has to offer...such as the sunrise or the dew on the roses in the morning, the cooing of a newborn baby or the stories told by the elderly.. i also do not shy away from household chores, i feel lkke the homes i work in better look cleaner when i leave ,than they do when i arrive...im not one to leave things undone. I provide personalized care for each client, working closely with family members to ensure the very best care for everyone. I treat each client with the same respect and dignity I would demand for my own family. I can provide references upon request.

Im a good worker easy to get along with people And i been working with elderly about 15 years. I been working with dementia resident. I love to work with elderly because thier like my parents and grand parents im loving and caring person and when i work not just work is with my heart. And i treat. Them as my own family i really care for them . I making sure that i would give them a good quality care that they needs .

Hello! My name is Maria. I am young and knowledgable, lively, a fast learner, time-efficient, and always wanting to go the extra mile for my "family". I am pursuing nursing which has been my dream since I was in High School. Being a caregiver has become something that is home for me. Over the past three years, I have experience taking care of those in a skilled-living facility with individuals who were diagnosed with Alzheimer's, dementia, schizophrenia, and those who were undergoing rehabilitation . I have worked one-on-one with someone who has trache units and even worked on learning the best ways to communicate with them. I took time away from working in facilities to take care of my grandma who was on hospice in my family's living room after undergoing radiation therapy. After my personal experience at home, I realized what makes a great caregiver. Which was to treat them as if they were your own family member. I don't have a big family, so coming into this field I see it as an opportunity to expand the family I get to have around me.

My name is Mary, I am a self motivated, compassionate stay at home mom who has spent 10 years raising and homeschooling my children while their father serves in the military. During this time I have networked on social media with people who had the same goal as me, created a support group for those with mental illness, set up a shop in home making and selling fleece blankets for BlanketsRUs, baby sat for friends and family members, cleaned and organized homes and cared for my grandmother. Since I could remember I would go with my mother and grandmother to visit my grandfather who had alzheimer's in the assisted living center. I seen how poorly he was being treated and helped my mother and grandmother feed, bath and take him on adventures that he would soon forget. I was also my grandmothers caregiver for nearly a year and the one thing I love about being a caregiver is how much knowledge is being shared, I always learn something new everyday. The reason I chose caregiving is because I seen how helpless my grandfather was and it opened my eyes to the fact that Im going to be the same way one day, helpless. When that day comes I hope and pray that I will meet a kind, compassionate, and patient caregiver to care for my husband and I. A personal achievement I am most proud of is being a high school graduate with 3 kids by the age of 21 and continuing my education to become a certified nurse assistant. My goal is to become a registered nurse and work in rehabilitation centers and psychiatric units.
