Hello! My name is Gunnar. I enjoy being with people and helping make their lives enjoyable and easy. I am friendly, patient, loving, honest, dependable, hard working, fun, respectful, understanding, happy, positive, sociable, organized, and determined. What attracts me to caregiving is the companionship and opportunity to serve. I enjoy both very much.

I became a caregiver after learning of my moms illness. It opened up a door in my heart that I will never be able to shut. I took the best care of her while she was passing, she was comfortable, clean, and loved. I have started going to school in the medical field, I now have a medical assisting license and plan to return to nursing school in July.

I first got into this field of work because I watched my grandpa in a skilled nursing facility not get the care that he needed, and was treated unwell. Since then I have made it my passion to give my all to those who need help, and to try to teach others in the field. I treat my clients/residents as family and I'm still close with family members of previous clients. I would say I'm very confident in what I do and I always ask questions if I'm unsure about a clients care/needs. I enjoy my job as well and I enjoy spending time with those and hearing their life stories.

I am a very enthusiastic hard working individual that takes pride in improving the quality of life in the geriatric population. Able to drive patients to MD appointments and record info for family, improve physical and mental functions through fun activities. Love arts crafts and conversation.

I have been helping my Grandmother for years. Taking her to doctor appointments, making sure she eats and takes her medication. Ensuring that she is taking care of herself. I enjoy helping people and making their days better.

I enjoy helping others and keeping people company. I've been in the care giving field for 2 years and I've cared for children for 10+. I've always been the one to help people when it's needed, I love puzzles and crosswords and cooking. I've been around caregivers my whole life so it's just second nature to me at this point. My name is Mary, I am a self motivated, compassionate stay at home mom who has spent 10 years raising and homeschooling my children while their father serves in the military. During this time I have networked on social media with people who had the same goal as me, created a support group for those with mental illness, set up a shop in home making and selling fleece blankets for BlanketsRUs, baby sat for friends and family members, cleaned and organized homes and cared for my grandmother. Since I could remember I would go with my mother and grandmother to visit my grandfather who had alzheimer's in the assisted living center. I seen how poorly he was being treated and helped my mother and grandmother feed, bath and take him on adventures that he would soon forget. I was also my grandmothers caregiver for nearly a year and the one thing I love about being a caregiver is how much knowledge is being shared, I always learn something new everyday. The reason I chose caregiving is because I seen how helpless my grandfather was and it opened my eyes to the fact that Im going to be the same way one day, helpless. When that day comes I hope and pray that I will meet a kind, compassionate, and patient caregiver to care for my husband and I. A personal achievement I am most proud of is being a high school graduate with 3 kids by the age of 21 and continuing my education to become a certified nurse assistant. My goal is to become a registered nurse and work in rehabilitation centers and psychiatric units.
