I have always had a passion for helping seniors even as a very young adult. I cared for my grandmother with love and patience, but always with the respect and dignity that she deserved. I feel most comfortable when in the caregiving position. My strengths are empathy, compassion and patience..always with a smile! I am very reliable and punctual. I have extensive experience working with seniors in many different capacities, from parkinsons, MS, alzheimers, dementia, stroke, and wheelchair bound. I have worked in hospital settings as a CNA, nursing homes, hospice centers, and assisted living centers. I helped with all ADL's, including bathing, transfers, errands, meal prep, toileting, light housekeeping and engaging in social activities with clients including walks, cards and games! I would love the opportunity to help your loved one remain independent in their own home while providing safe care and companionship to them!

i am very passionate about making a difference with my clients good will not just do it is about going the extra mile to exceed expectations . My clients aren't just case flies they're real people who i admire and treat everyone of them with respect just as i would want someone to treat my grandparents or parents the same. He is a NON-Verbal Quadriplegic and has been medially fragile for most of his life. He is now very healthy and attends a day program on weekdays, which allows me to work. I believe I am a good caregiver because I have been on both side of the experience. I started care giving when I was 19 for my great grandmother who was on hospice and getting in home care. I was young but able to understand the significance in knowing the difference between " quality of life " vs " quantity of life " . And I also saw the great importance of being able to trust your loved one in the care of a stranger. Building a repor with your client is key to a successful experience for both sides!
