I love everything about it such as caring for people, meeting knew people, and anything that has to do with helping others. I'am a warm compassionate and caring individual. It my way of giving back we had help with my mom when she broke her hip. Helping other people making sure they are cared for. I worked with a man with Parkinson disease as well as a diabetic. He was 96 years old when I begin working with him. He was on hospice, with six months to live, he live to be 100 years old and six months. His children say that was due to my cooking and taking care of him, talking with him he just needed someone to show him love and attention.

I love the challenge of working with seniors because I am rewarded by helping people of all ages.I am particularly blessed by working with older people because I have a passion for them. I enjoy listening to the stories and past experiences of the elderly.

I was born in Culver City, Ca. and raised by my grandparents there. I enjoyed gardening with my grandfather and knitting/crafting with my grandmother all the while listening to stories about life back in the islands and their journey to the US for opportunity of a better life. As I got older, I became my grandparents' caregiver. Caring for them is what interested me in this line of work. There is so much more to caregiving than meds reminder and assisting with ADL's or pillow fluffing.
