I am an LVN with 20 years of nursing experience. I provide skilled care or more extensive care such as end of life care, wound care or care that may require someone more skilled. MY PRICES ARE NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON THE JOB AND SKILL NEEDED FOR THE JOB. I'm IHSS certified for Lake County and will consider working through IHSS. My regular prices range from $30.00 - $45.00 an hour. I've always been a natural caregiver. I love caring for people. I began a career in nursing in 2001 as a CNA. I went to school to become an LPN in 2005 and graduated Valedictorian in 2006. I've enjoyed nursing and was fortunate to be able to gain lots of experience in geriatrics and pediatrics. I've worked in private care, home health care, assisted living, nursing home and clinic. I have also been blessed to have worked with developmentally delayed children and adults. I am both a indoors and outside person. What attracts me to this career is the companionship that can be made when helping another. I find it helpful and healthy to communicate with people. I would stay the night and day for 4 days at house that my clients were at to care for them. One of the major achievements I've made is losing weight. A little bit about me Hi my name is Lola De Los Santos. I am 19 years old and I am a CNA-Certified Nursing Assistant. I am currently a college student at Mendocino College pursuing my goal to become an RN-Registered Nurse. I am a fun spirited individual who loves being around people and making people feel good and or better even when that day may not be a good day for them. Throughout school of wanting to become a nurse I chose to get my CNA license so that I would be able to get more experience within the career path that I have chosen, but throughout my journey of schooling and working at a care home I realized that being there for your patients and assisting them with their ADL's is the best feeling that I could have experienced while being a CNA. A personal achievement I am proud of is accomplishing as much as I have while only being 19 years old and that I am passionate about the things that I do.

I got into caregiving as a fluke and instantly fell in love with it and the people that I have been able to help and care for. I've always had interest in the medical field and I learned that caregiving is fairly similar to it, I saw that through caregiving I create a personal connection and that's why I chose caregiving. I enjoy the little moments about caregiving, when a person served says something unexpected and it creates a happy memory/moment for us both.
