My experience around elderly and in Assisted Livings has given me understanding and compassion for residents in any type of limitation that they are experiencing. I am patient, respectful, hardworking, and passionate about caregiving. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my mother. She used to be a caregiver and would take me to work every week since I was 5 so you could say I grew up in an assisted living surrounded by elderly. As a result, I've been exposed to a variety of different elderly residents with a vast range of limitations including dementia, Alzheimer's, schizophrenia, blindness, deafness, diabetes, and residents that are independent.
