Hello and welcome to my profile. My name is Zachary Oswald and I hope to be your helper. I am 34 years old and have been in health care for a little over 13 years currently. I have a very wide range of experience so far on my journey. I am CNA, PCT, CBRF and CPR certified. I have lots of experience in and out of facilities all the way up to hospitals & clinics and have been able to work with everything from basic needs to full assist, as well as in home care, rehabilitation, long term and short term care. I like to believe I am very well rounded. I am a current nursing student going for my RN currently. I take pride in my work by providing best care possible within my abilities. I am very passionate about this line of work and have been from a young age since I grew up taking care of several family members. So if I'm taking care of your family they will be treated like they were my own allowing me to give them top notch care.

I am very loyal, protective, intuitive, and caring. I have 21 plus years experience in caregiving. Being a caregiver is not for everyone, but what sets me apart from most is I am a natural empath. Working with people in general requires a natural nurturer; which I am. Helping people young or old allows me to experience people on a different scale. I realised caregiving was my calling about 20 years ago. I was offered a private position and I fell in love with it. I enjoy many aspects of being a caregiver. Everyone is different, so I enjoy learning new things about people. I can honestly say I find it fascinating to have the opportunity to help people from all walks of life. I also am proud to say it takes a special individual to overcome adversities and have a positive outlook even after difficult or complicated experiences.

I take proud of my patients I take care of and I also make sure of the welfare of the patient I am taking care of because you always treat people like you want to be treated because that can be a love one and you don't want nobody else to treat your family like that i always make sure my parents are clean and have eaten well balanced meals.

I cared for both of my parents until they both passed in 2014 and I know how much it means to have someone you can trust with your loved ones. My mother had dementia and COPD my father was blind paraplegic and diabetic wheelchair-bound. My clients become like family to me.

Everyone has their own opinion of why or what makes them a great caregiver apart from others, well mines is pretty simple... I'm a great caregiver because I do just that "GIVE", whether it's my undivided attention to the person I'm there to care for or simply the care for watering their flowers. My care for my clients have always been above and beyond measures. I don't only like the role I play I take my role as a caregiver very serious.
