Hello! My name is Keesha and I have been a caregiver, for a little over 2 years. I have traveled the world, worked some of the best jobs, eaten amazing food, been to some spectacular shows, museums and events, but caregiving has been the most rewarding experience thus far. As a 31 year young woman, there is always significant age difference between my clients and I, and I think that's what makes our relationships so special. Each client is like a new book. I learn so much of their lives, who they were, their spouse, kids parents, etc. and they get to learn so much from me! Being a caregiver is more than just completing daily chores, it's about connected with the individual. It's understanding that they're in a new/last phase of their lives, and this phase should be treated with attentiveness, love, patience and respect. I love what I do and I think it's special. I have experience to work with agencies , assisting living facility .I think that a quality that's made me been a good caregiver is that I'm compassionate ,reliable and responsable.I like to treat people how I like to be treated...I become a Cna because I feel special caring for older seniors, I will tell you why , when I was a teenager 13 old , I was lacking of grandparents love, my parents were divorced, then when I was in my teenage age , my dad used to left me with my grandmother at home , 80 age , she was in a wheelchair, Parkinson's disease. I mean that I was the one who take care my grandma, doing her bath , preparing food , cutting her hair, nails.I really enjoy my job , my co workers said that I'm have a good quality for this job and is patience.
