I am a kind hearted, dependableI, trustworthy and competent nurse. My experience includes working in home assisting a diverse population of clients. I professionally communicate needs of patient to appropriate parties in addition to carrying out a coordinated care plan. Experienced assisting in transfers, personal care, meals, chores, transportation, operation of wheel chair lift, and shopping. I was certified in 2003-2004, as a certified nurses aide then I had a career change for a bit. When I came back to nursing I worked as a home health aid through the care agency's in Hilo and Kona. I also have a Bachelors in Psychology and a Bachelors in Communication from the UH of Hilo. I live in Volcano, Hawaii and look forward to helping your family. Hey guys! I'm not exactly good at talking about myself, so bear with me please. I'm a hard worker. I love being able to help whenever and however I can, I'm patient, caring, cool headed, and selfless. I can work well independently or in a group, I'm an effective communicator, granted..I can be shy at first sometimes, but it doesn't stop me from getting the job done to the very best of my abilities. I never really considered this type of work throughout high school...but then during my senior year I took CNA classes through Sweet water Health Education and fell in love. My long term goal is to be an RN in the hospital, but being a CNA is a good place to start. It's a rewarding job. I'm currently waiting to take the state exam for my license, so I'm really just a Home Health Aide. I think what really got me hooked to the job, was when we did our clinical training at Life Care Center. Sure there are times when the job is hard or just plain sucks...but I love it. Being able to help them or just trying to make them smile is awesome.
