I am a Dedicated, service-focused professional seeking to transition into a higher level of healthcare. I have worked as a CNA since 2009 and CMA since 2014. Learned the basics of assessing patient vital signs and other skills for the basic and advanced C.N.A courses as well a C.M.A course under the tutelage of a registered nurse. I've been a CNA and a home health aide for over 7 years with a lot of experience ranging from caring for people with dementia, Alzheimer's, stroke etc to hospice. I'm also experienced in meeting their activities of daily living like shaving, and grooming, shower, dressing, helping with feeding, driving them to and from doctors offices for appointments etc

I'm a 19 year old who's currently pregnant and looking for a job and I felt this job would be good for me because I have good communication skills. And manners as well. I just feel like I would love this job and I would be loved there as well.

I have years of hands on experience, I am not certified at the moment but plan to test out in the future. I am very soft spoken and enjoy helping with ADL's. I enjoy working where I am appreciated and my residents/clients are like family to me.

I am very patient, I love to sit and socialize with the patients. I love to hear about their back ground and their religion and how they grew up. I am good under pressure. I am caring. I am on time.

I am highly compassionate, I'm a people person and I love making a difference in someone's life. I love putting a smile on their faces. What attracted me was my grandmother. I took care of her during her last days on earth and made it memorable for the both of us. What I enjoyed most is making a difference in someone's day! I am proud to say that i am a great mother that's my biggest achievement being a mom.

As a mother of five I found I really loved helping and taking care of others. I enjoy building relationships with those I care for. I believe we should treat our elders with dignity, respect and compassion at all times.

I am a nuturer. It's what I do. I have four children of my own and I am pursuing a career in nursing while simultaneously running a daycare out of my home so I am also very good at multitasking. My various job locations is due to my marriage to a man in the Marine Corps, and while I did enjoy our adventures, it also hindered my career growth. Due to unforseen circumstances, I am venturing to Georgia on my own with my four children in tow and the only thing I am 100% sure of is that I KNOW how to take care of people. I spent time with my grandmother who had dementia. On one occasion, my mother was having a difficult time getting her to take her meds and my Grandma asked her, "Are you SURE this is all of them?" in a snippy way. My mom was growing frustrated with the way my Grandma was being stubborn about everything but I just laughed and said, 'Mom! She's just being a smartalleck!" My Grandma laughed and laughed. Later, my Aunt told me that was the first time she had laughed in a LONG time. It was then that I realized that just because someone has dementia, it doesn't mean they don't have a sense of humor or they're TRYING to be difficult. They just want to feel heard and acknowledged.
