I became a caregiver because since I was a young I helped taking care my cousins and my grandparents, especially being around my grandparents thought me a lot , I said to myself when I grow up I will like to be to work as a caregiver. I am a very loving and people person . I decided to become a caregiver when I started working at a care center in Hiawatha Iowa as a Dietary Aide . I decided that I wanted to work with the residents instead of serving them . I found a job shortly as being a resident aide at Mayvil assistive living , I didn't have to be certified. I then began to wonder what was the difference in being certified or not ... I started to look into classes to become a certified nurse assistant, I was determined to get my certification. So I took off a month of work to go to school . Believer it or not I loved it , when I finnished school I got at westridge care center , I loved my residents but I decided to return home to my hometown. I would like to get into some home health care ! I enjoy waking up everyday and being the first person my resident interacts with for the day , I smile definitely starts the day off . I also love to be able to tuck my residents in at night !
