I love helping others. I started off providing respite relief for a family friend who needed a break. And then went on to work in a facility as a caregiver. I am most proud of being professional and dependable. I love building g trust with my clients and being able to help them realize that I care and provide my undivided attention.

I am a very compassionate, dedicated nursing professional. I have also worked in human services as a job coach for people with disabilities. I am passionate about helping others.

The emotional and physical drain it is on the individual and the family when going through illness and/or aging is one I'm very familiar with. I have provided support and care to both parents who had cancer and were in Hospice care at home. In addition, I've assisted friends who've had a family member declining. I have no education or professional experience as a bedside caregiver nor do I feel comfortable or confident in providing medical or physical care. I am however, passionate and fully capable of providing excellent support in the following: emotional support | companionship | light housework | cooking | errands | appointments etc. Although the hands on physical bedside care is necessary and of extreme importance, I feel emotional love and support is also a crucial component, as humans we all need to have love and companionship. If this type of care is your need I would be fully vested in providing this service to your loved one as if he or she were my own family member.

Hi my name is Mindy! I am a mother of 4 beautiful girls ages 19 to 7 and I am a grandma of a spunky 2 year old little girl! I completed my cna in 2010 and started my career. I went to In home services because it is more personal time to spend and 1 on 1 . my main focus is the individual I am assisting. I continue online courses and love what I do! I have taken care of some family members especially my own great grandma whom I loved so much. And she taught me that my calling was to do 1 on 1. I have worked in nursing homes, care centers and in home. I worked in dementia units, also with disabilities for 7 years, hospice, and so much more.

What helps me be the great caregiver would be my personality and my happiness of smiles. What attracted me to become a caregiver was seeing one of my friends mom caring for a senior person at her home and watch her do it,and ask me to help her. "It was amazing". I'm a mom of 4 kids and a grandma of 2 grandsons. I grew up in Cambridge, Iowa until I was 18, moved to Arkansas till I was 23, then my husband and I got married June 25, 2011. I found out that I love helping others when my mom would take us to the nursing homes where she worked and I got to get to know alot of the residents there and help out a little. So far my favorite job was Windsor Manor and helping with my father in law at home. Windsor Manor was a lot of different elderly patients from wheel chairs, walkers, bed ridden, hospice, alzheimers, dementia, and just some that needed to have a visitor now and then. I found myself feeling they where my family. I also took care if my father in law at his home that also had dementia and alzheimers for about a little over a year till he passed away. I like finding stuff that they used to do as kids and bring back some memories and some really good stories. Being a caregiver gives me satisfaction that I'm not only helping the patient but also it gives the stressed out family a little break that is well needed. I feel helpful, grateful, and achievement helping those that can't do it all.

It is my belief that all ppl regardless of their need are intitled to the best care possible for a full recovery or in many cases a private transition into their life's end journey...dignity and respect. Being a caregiver is one of life's rewards, those needing care are greatful and I would hope that if I need care someday I would have someone like myself. As far as achievements thus far is helping extended families learn and understand what their loved one may not be able to express to them. Keeping clients on track even if they don't have improvement ...giveing tools to live life out the best way possible with encouragement.
