Took care of my parents and friends family that made me have a passion to help others. Realized alot of people are alone, depressed and refuse to seek help. Offered my assistance to Dr. Appts, pick up medication, encourage clients to take meds, eat, do activities, offer companionship, meal prep etc. Desired to help make a difference in other people's lives. Myself as do many of you know what it is like to have a loved one that has Alzheimer's or dementia or other elder needs. In 1999 my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia it was a very rough road to cross. After seeing the things that my mother has went through and has accomplished and overcome it makes me want to continue to work in the nursing field. Someone once asked me why I chose the nursing field and all I can tell you is it is the simple things in life that can make a dramatic difference in someone's life. I love knowing that with my help and others and family members also I am able to help them stay at home. I love knowing that what I can do can change someone's life whether it be from something simple as tieing their shoe or just helping them brush their hair or complete simple daily tasks....

I love catering for people, i enjoy making people feel loved and appreciated and just being there for people. I first thought about becoming a caregiver after taking care of my great grandmother and i just enjoyed every second of being able to help her with her daily activities and just every day things.
