Hello! My names Katrina ive been in home health since I was 13 years old! I started with children who had special needs. I worked with them for about 5 years then started to lean more towards the elderly who really just need a lending hand at home a companion etc. Though I take my job very seriously and dont mind doing the dirty work as well bed baths toileting bed side commodes. I am experianced with hoyer lifts I am CPR certified and First Aid. I'm fluent in sign language for those who may have a family member who is hard of hearing or deaf. I am a loving bubbly person who just cares alot for people family or not sometimes a little too much and sometimes thats okay! I became a caregiver at the early age of 14 when my grandfather suffered a stroke which paralyzed the entire right side of his body. Ever since then, when I graduated high school in 2014, I began working for the nursing homes, & for multiple people in the area in need of a caregiver. I enjoy the companionships that are built thru trusting and support. I'm proud of the caregiver I am, because a lot of my clients/ patients have no one to support them, and knowing I am the one that's there to make sure they eat, & are properly bathed means a lot to me. I take my job seriously.
