With all my hard work and dedication I am still progressing in my career, I will be attending school again to continue my career to become a Registered Nurse.

I became a caregiver at the age of 17 helping my great grandmother. I transitioned into the health care field at the age of 18; I've worked in numerous health care facilities and hospice facilities. I enjoy connecting and meeting new souls. My clients often turn into family or friends. This is what makes my job amazing to me. I love and get along with people from all walks of life. My goal is to make each and everyone feel safe, loved and taken care of. I hope to meet you soon.

I am 56, married with 2 children, my daughter graduated college this year and my son is a sophomore in college. Although my work history has been in education and as a business owner, I really enjoy caring for others and now have the time available with our business and family to do so. I've been told I'm a people person, I make people feel comfortable and I get along very well with a wide variety of people. I have volunteered on a crisis hotline, at soup kitchens, food banks and taking people in need to appointments or offering companionship. My mother was diagnosed with early onset dementia and eventually Alzheimers in 2014. She stayed with us for awhile, then we were able to find a lovely care facility where she was very happy and loved. She passed away in November 2019 and I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with her, putting her at ease and making her laugh. I plan to still visit her friends where she was living, but its 45 minutes away so it's a not practical place me to work. I have enjoyed working with multiple clients for the past several years, and have been referred to other clients several times.

The love and compassion I have for nursing pores out into my daily life, as well as professional. Loving what what you do is one things but when you actually enjoy your career, the energy I put into it spills over to the care I provide and that only makes for my career choice that much more promising.

I been working in the health care field since 2015, started off working as a job coach for the mentally challenged, to working as a health care aide with senior citizens. I just got my cna license during the pandemic in 2020 and I love it. I enjoy helping people it definitely a passion for me.
