I have approximately 7 years of senior care experience and til this day I enjoy my job as a caregiver. I've worked jobs that required me to be a companion, bathe, transport, and cook for the elderly. If needed, I'm experienced in changing briefs, bed pads, using a gait belt, taking vitals and passing medications. If there's something I have not trained in, I'm a fast learner & wouldn't mind learning something new! (I catch on quick) I enjoy working in home health care and love getting to know my clients! I can do anything and everything. I like to stay busy all the time, really active person with a lots of anergy. I like to make people happy, and enjoy every day of their life even if its hard. I've been working many many years as a caregiver small and big facilities, so they becoming part of my family, only then you having a good time been caregiver and friend. I enjoy to do their hair nails showering changing close so they can look good and happy, love to cook, organise and have fresh flowers in the house. I am a very good listener. I have a positive attitude and enjoy talking with the elderly. I have worked in nursing homes and love seeing the elderly every day and watching them accomplish stuff. I currently work with guys with disabilities like down syndrome, autism, and mental retardation. It is can be challenging but very rewarding

I believe that I am a great caregiver because I don't think im just there to help bathe the clients or clean their home, I'm also there to be there companion and treat them as if their also my family. Nobody wants a random stranger in their home that's just there to clean up after them and make them feel uncomfortable. I chose to be a caregiver because some people aren't as compassionate as others when it comes to helping with things such as cleaning up after someone else or helping with toiletling/bathing in the situations some people would feel uncomfortable in.
