I am a mother and I believe I did a great job with my children when they were babies. I loved being a mother. I have worked in the Caregiving field and have about 4-5 years of experience. I am a married and we're just living the family life. We love to go on car rides together, sightseeing, Love connecting with nature, Venturing to new places, Camping, and Fishing. Someday, I would love to travel.

I would describe myself as a respectful, observant, reliable and patient person who provides first-class care. Over the years, I have worked in various roles where the need to work closely with other people, follow strict rules and procedures, and demonstrate understanding and empathy have been required.

I took care of both of my parents. I love being around their wisdom. They think i'm funny and fun to be with. I would rather be around older people. Aways have since I was little. Guess it started in childhood since that's what we had living around us in our neighborhood.! And feel very blessed that its a calling too. I love talking and most of all listening to my clients. I am a 39 year old mother of 4 wonderful children. I am a medication tech and CNA at an assisted living facility in the Kansas City metro. I love my residents and my job. Everyday i get to go to my job is defiently an honor to me. My residents make a difference in my life everyday.

I was a caregiver to a quadriplegic professor when I was in college to help pay for my tuition. After college, I continued doing private care on the side for some Alzheimer patients at a nursing home. In 2004, I enrolled at a nursing school for a year and a half. I did not finish my degree, but I did receive my certification as a CNA and as a Medication Technician. I keep up to date with the newest discoveries and findings in the world of medicine. Even though I have not had any new medical training, I am current on my knowledge of diseases, medications and side effects of such medications. For instance, I am aware that when you care for an Alzheimer's patient, you step into his/her world, and not insist that he/she conforms to your expectations of what is real. I am compassionate and capable. All of the kids are either all grown or almost grown, but I still have this vast need to nurture. My husband refuses to be smothered, so, I need to go out of the house and find someone else who would appreciate being cared for :-) My kids are my biggest accomplishment. The eldest is going to medical school this summer, and the middle one is attending UMKC in August. The youngest one is doing great as a Sophomore while giving out just enough sass to maintain her teenage status.

I am a very social young adult. I love taking care of people and helping those in need as much as possible.

Growing up I have always been very interested in helping people for their daily living. I am kind, gentle, and very compassionate person. What attracted me to being a caregiver was generally to help people and advocate for people. What enjoy most about being a caregiver is to be able help people in their sickness and you see how their health improves. One of my personal achievements is to be able to graduate from school, proud of that.

Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I am 27 years old. I currently am attending Metropolitan Community College maintaining a 4.0, working towards my Associates in Arts of Teaching with an emphasis in Special Education. Once I have graduated with this degree I will apply as an Educational Assistant to gain experience and learn the various teaching methods throughout the classrooms. While doing this I will continue working towards my Bachelors in Elementary Educational focusing on Special Education. My ultimate end goal is to earn my Masters in Counseling concentrating in Play Therapy to help the special population progress in their academic and life skills. I offer so much compassion and care toward each and every life. I feel that everyone should be able to experience the most fulfilling life no matter what endeavors they are facing. Sometimes our physical and mental capabilities deteriorate due to surgeries, age, genetics and many other reasons. If in life when we come across these struggles we should never be discouraged, degraded or insulted for this. We can turn these events in life into strengthening activities. We can develop these hard times into positive times. I am a mother of a 6 year old bright and beautiful daughter. I do work 36 hours a week at a Roofing company Maintaining there books and records among many other tasks as well as take 9 credit hours of classes at MCC Maple Woods. I am looking to become a Caregiver for someone possibly overnights on the weekends, or any weekend hours. However I am open to the discussion of any available work. I am looking to be a caregiver to continue using my skills with assisting and aiding in growth and development. I do have a full schedule, but please do not let that deter you as I am very dedicated and goal oriented.
