Hello. I've been caregiving for about 3 years now. I love helping and taking care of people. I've always wanted to be a light to my patients and their family. I think my favorite part about caregiving has to be the bonds that i build with them.

I lovingly took care of my elderly mother-in-law for 5 years in my home. She was my sidekick and best friend. I assisted her with every facet of aging. I helped her with bathing, diaper changes, grooming, turning, mobility, entertainment, and I was there with her through every hospital stay and in her final days on hospice at home. I am glad I was able to give her the dignity and respect she deserved and I love that I was able to keep her at home where she wanted to be.

I got my Personal Care Aide license in 2006 so I would know how to care for my mother who had cancer and then 2011 tended to my father til his death in 2013. I enjoy visiting and hearing about the clients unique lives, I enjoy the flexiablity in hours as a caregiver, but most of all knowing with my assistance I am helping people live longer and happier lives indepentently. I am proud that I was able to care for both my parents before they died and I was able to keep them from going to the nursing home. I am a single, white, female, mother, caring, reliable, hard working, a great cook, and friendly. I worked for East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging and recertified my personal care aide training in Arkansas in 2014. My clients always bragged that I can fold laundry like department store and the fitted sheets like should be folded. That is due to my 10 years in hotels business and many years working Apparel department at Wal-mart. I am currently a greeter at Wal-mart.

I am a 23 year old medical assistant. I fell in love with taking care of patients long before I could even work. I stayed in the hospital most of my childhood life so I was determined to care for people once I got older. I love being a help to others and trying to satisfy everyone needs. I love being there for my patients physically and mentally. I'm proud of getting my certification for medical assisting and now I am in school to further my education for RN.
