I am a consistent, hard worker, I pay attention to detail and I work with empathy and compassion everyday. My grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 4 years ago and I have been taking care of her ever since, this is why I am drawn to caregiving. I understand that some people just need help and there's nothing wrong with that, I would love to be the person to do it. I enjoy spending time with different individuals and making their day better. One accomplishment I am proud of is achieving my private pilot license.

I have always enjoyed helping people who need me! I listen to my clients and help them through anything they may need as well as accompany them while we do housework or exercise. My favorite part about caregiving is making a difference in the lives of those I am blessed to be a part of.

I am a 24 year male , I was born and raised in Elizabeth City, NC. I graduated from Pasquotank County High School in the year of 2017 , I have a beautiful daughter named Malaysia. I have worked several jobs in my life but this kind of job is one of my favorites not because of the money, it's deeper than that I love the fact I can help people. I was raised by my grandmother and she raised me well I always respect my elders hands down , and now the chance to help is even a better blessing.

Earned a bachelor Degree in kinesiology: exercise science which is the study of the human body movement. I care about health, nutrition, and fitness. With that degree, i've learned ways to help with cardiovascular health problems, lower blood pressure, and things in that sort. I am a hard working, dedicated man. Full committed to any task I begin. Once was a quarterback of a collegiate team, so I know how to be held accountable, and lead others. I want to help others become the best version of themselves. I enjoy helping and giving back to other the same as my family did for me and others around the community and seeing that type of love from my parents and family always stuck with me to do the same for others. I recently, finish a "internship" and graduate with a bachelor of science.

I love caregiving . This came about when I was taking care of my grandmother I was by her side made her comfortable as she could be until the end . I love the fact of helping others and making them feel comfortable I love giving people a helping hand and love the love and friendships that come with it ! My experience been a care giver I had. To take care of my aunt she was on bed rest for dementia and couldn't walk for rest of her life so I was the one who bath her feed her change her went to store for her. I just love take care of people . Been around people and taken care of them Got my high school diploma and soon go get my degree to be in home nurse

I started care taking back in 2009 when my grandmother became bed bound. I had assisted with her daily living routines such as bathing, cooking,dressing, administer medication and feeding. Occasionally i would have to clean and dress any wounds or lesions. After taking care or my grandmother for 2 years I then got more involved with care taking by caring for a disable veteran for a year whom was paralyzed. I had performed the same duties as well. My passion for helping those who cannot do for themselves started with my grandmother and it is something that comes naturally to me.

I have 22 years RN experience in medical and surgical nursing in the hospital setting as well as 8 years in home health and hospice. My assessment of subtle changes in a client's condition and comfort in providing care in homes is a bonus to my basic caregiving skills of safely bathing, transfering, and interacting with clients of all ages and debility. You wonder why I am not looking for a RN job? I no longer want to deal with the endless paperwork and little actual client contact involved with nursing today. However, I am a caregiver at heart and still want to serve people, especially the elderly, who need assistance. My personality is respectful and somewhat reserved, but i enjoy listening and talking about family, life experiences, etc. I have done much work with and continuing education regarding people with dementia, behavioral challenges, and mental disorders. I do only want to work part time for now.
