I currently work with the elderly in my full time position and I absolutely LOVE this population. Being able to brighten someone's day is the best gift because you never know what the next person may be going through. Also, the elderly used to be young and it can be frustrating for them as well to see and experience changes they are going through. I always keep that in mind. I've worked in agencies with Home Health and Hospice and in a skilled nursing facility. I have experience with every aspect that it takes to care for your loved one with over 20yrs. In all. The one thing that makes me a great care giver is I listen to their needs not my agenda and I love what I do.
