I strive at caregiving because I am personal with my clients, making my service about them and their needs. I am always looking for ways to improve their lives!

My name is Chelsea. I have worked in nursing homes/ primary care for 10 years. I find myself a very caring, compassionate, patient and understanding person. I try to find the good in every situation. In the last year I took a break from healthcare and took a position in childcare. Somewhat the same as care giving but on the other end of the spectrum. I enjoy creating relationships with my patients and giving them the care they deserve. While working in elderly care I found a majority of the staff was there for the paycheck, I can't say that for myself. I felt important as I became closer with my residents as they felt the comfortable with me as they couldn't with some of the staff. Caring for people makes me feel good because I am making someone feel happy and that is important at their time in life no matter what age, Having to have help is always hard and to have someone that understands , is patient and kind is key in my eyes.

Experienced physical therapist looking to provide caregiver assistance as a meaningful secondary position. I am an active treating clinician in my primary job as an outpatient physical therapist/supervisor, with additional experience working in the inpatient setting. My background provides me with bed mobility, transfers, and gait training, in addition to proficiency in exercise programs. I've worked with a wide variety of patients, including geriatrics, post-operative and those more medically complex. Willing to assist with household tasks, errands or be there for general companionship, as well. Enjoy focusing on compassionate care with all clients, in addition to making time spent together fun (with hopefully a few laughs!).

Being a mother of five daughters and grandmother to many grandchildren, I see the vital role of family connections, friendships and personal interactions which are needed to create a healthy environment. One special moment I facilitated, was to invite the local editor of the newspaper to interview my current veteran client on his 90th birthday. I had also organized his two best friends who are veterans, and also turning 90 in the same month to attend. It was a privilege to hear their stories and help capture this unique moment.

I've been an LNA for four years now and I am working towards getting my RN at Great Bay as well. I have a five year old daughter and I am looking for first or third shift during the week so I can still see her when she gets out of school. On the weekends, I am able to work anytime
