I'm a 39 year old mom of 2 girls.

Been a diabetic since 5 I've had people helping me when I couldn't help my self and now it's my turn! I've been a LNA since 2013! I love helping others!

I have worked around the world and have many friends and acquaintances with varying degrees of limitations and family backgrounds. I feel I am well versed in communicating and getting along with individuals of any background. I feel it is important to give our elders the feeling of being wanted and capable of living the lifestyle they are most comfortable with.

I am a very compassionate woman. I understand that every person deserves individual care that meets their individual needs. I am attracted to helping a person live their best life as much as possible. I enjoy being able to make a persons day better by me being there for them. I think I make a great caregiver because of the way my grandmother raised me and how I had to help her growing up. It makes my heart warming feeling knowing I'm helping someone In need! Hi! My name is PJ. I spent my childhood helping my parents take care of my elderly grandparents who had a variety of health issues including Alzheimer's, vision and hearing deficits. Since then I have enrolled in nursing school at SUNY Adirondack and am now in my final semester. I am still not quite sure what I plan to do with my degree but I entered nursing school with the intention of going into home care. I recall the immense effect that homecare workers had on our family while we were taking care of my grandparents and that is what I love about it. There are a lot of aspects of care that are included in home care that I love as someone who enjoys cleaning, and just having conversation.

Myself knowing what the feeling is needing things and having someone , and more people the knowing somebody cares so much about people that the person goes so far to do and give so much work put forth into their needs it's unbelievably becomes who you are me being a caregiver means alot. I can do so much preferably how people are before they need caregiving. Independence taught me how to care to other people . It's more explainable in person . I'm not fake. I don't steal.
