I am a very caring person. I have always wanted to peruse a career that involves helping others! I grew up with a brother that has Down Syndrome so I was raised learning patience, understanding, and love. He is the main reason I have always wanted to be a care giver and why I have always loved it. Caregiving isn't just a "job" to me, helping others is my passion.

Hello my name is Rebecca I got by Becca I been a care giver for 3 years almost 4 ..I started to care for my grandma for 2 months right after I had surgery for cervical cancer I was 3 weeks in to bed rest and grandma called she was looking at 4 to 6 months I came home to care for her . I love being a caregiver i never stop learning things ...I get to meet new people and hear they story of life and pass they Knowledge down. I decided I wanted to care for others when my mom became sick and started having medical problems. I then assisted her with care, and monitoring medications etc. This motivated me to want to care for others and help do things they are unable to do. The thing I love about being a caregiver is making people happy which makes me happy about what I do. Something I am proud of is taking the extra steps needed in furthering my career and education and reaching goals I set for myself. I am a fun loving person that goes the extra mile and puts my mind into whatever I do.

I became a caregiver because my mother was a nurse. She did home health care for years and she always talked about how much she loved it. When I started into this field it was in hospice care and I loved it. I loved being there with families and helping them through the very difficult times. I always spent more time than required so I could ensure that things were the best they could be considering the situation. I tend to be a fairly quite person at first but become chattery once I feel comfortable. I have always been that way but I have become better with age. I love helping people. And spending time just talking if that's all they would like.

Hi, My name is Regchal but it's said Rachael different, Yes I know lol. Am 23 years of age graduate from high school have two childeren of my own that I love to the Moon and back. Yet I decided to become a caregiving back in 2006 when my mother had to get open heart surgery she had an 80% blockage of the heart ovary basically devastated the whole family thing were chaotic but I myself had to pull it together and be her strength I was only 16 when I took care of my mom after heart surgery I got offered a job at Cleveland Clinic one of the biggest hospital in the world to be an aide there yet, my mom thought I was to young at the time. I love what I do and I am good, but what makes me great and stand out from other is that I have a passion for it, it's God's gift to me to be nurturing and with this gift I was and still is my mother back bone, to others it's just wiping butt and cleaning people but to me it's a whole lot more then just that, I myself as an nursing Aides become attracted Family we build trust tell stories cry together we get through the storm to get to the sun but you have to do this with a caring heart so our resident build confidence and say they can instead I can't.

I have always loved caring for people since I was a small child, after I had my own child my passion of caring for others grew. I love knowing that's I am making a difference in someone's life. What seems to be smallest thing to us, could mean the most to someone else. I have worked with individuals with special needs for seven years and have had the background of dealing with "difficult" traits. Everyone is different but we all want someone who shows they care about them. I currently am working with assisted living residents, and that's a big reward in it's self, I have no living grandparents so being with them makes me feel like I'm with my own family.

I am a gentle, compassionate person who is passionate about helping people live as independently as possible in their homes. I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing their life stories/experiences. It gives me great pleasure to be a part of making independent living possible for those whom I serve.
