I have been an STNA/caregiver for 19 years! I have cared for patients in nursing facilities, hospitals, and their homes. I lead with love and enjoy serving seniors in any way that they may need.

I feel that I am a great caregiver because I am patient, understanding, a great listener, compassionate, and very caring. I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated. When I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer (Stage 5) 6 years ago, my one and only Caregiver by the name of Barbara, was the absolute best. She took very good care of me, and was such a joy to have around. One day I told her that when I get better, I was going to become a Caregiver too because she was such an inspiration and blessing to me and my family. I am a natural born nurturer, and I love taking care of people. It gives me such a fulfillment in my spirit to know that I did something that day to make someone's life a little easier. I am proud of the fact that I was able to complete my courses to become a Certified Nurses Assistant 2 years ago, and I plan to go back to become State Tested to enhance my skills and knowledge in this particular field.

I am an energetic and positive caregiver! My first patient was my grandmother who was a patient of cancer for 20 years. Since then, I wanted to be able to help loved ones be comfortable in their own home where they can enjoy alot of the same things they always have. I have a passion to care for those in need. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the lessons learned by your patients and hearing the stories that make up their past!

Hello! My name is Summer and I am laid back in personality, but very attentive and helpful. I am careful to mold to the patient and familys' dynamics and needs. I love getting to know the people I care for. My greatest accomplishment is taking an interest in the music my previous client played professionally for 30 years, but had lost his ability to play years ago due to illness. Because I listened to his music with him and was willing to reminisce with him, he felt like he'd gained a piece of that partof his life back and began sharing his love of music with his children again before he passed. I enjoy every minute spent with a patient, I love caring for them. I love cooking, cleaning, being their arms and legs, and helping them feel as normal as possible. I am constantly looking for ways to help, to go above and beyond.

I'm a very honest and outgoing person! I love to care for people, I am currently going to school to become a medical assistant. I've grown up wanting to be a nurse all my life, I enjoy helping others. I put all my hard worth and faith into my patients! I care about their well being and give each and everyone my sympathy. I don't have much experience as an Stna or CNA but I am certified both and have worked in a nursing home as a CNA. I've worked very hard to be where I am, and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

I find such a great sense of pride in caring for people!! I am a bubbly, loving and caring person and with care taking those qualities seem to fit hand in hand. There is no better feeling than someone needing something that you can help them with. I'm very sociable and never met a stranger, as they say.

I become a STNA because I have always loved helping and being there for the residents. I'm currently in nursing school and would just like to pick up some extra shifts other than my Stna job now.

I feel like I am a great caregiver cause I try to make the client feel as independent as possible , and by this I mean by helping out with all of their needs but helping out in the way they like it and as a friend not as a worker. I try to build a relationship of trust and friendship before anything. What pointed me to be a caregiver is my mom did this for years and I loved hearing all the lovely stories about how she made a persons day just by helping them out in a open hearted way. I enjoy building a relationship with my clients and laughing and joking around with them, basically making them feel alive and up to speed on today's world. My personal achievement I am proud of is having multiple clients wanting me in their home and building relationships with their family and friends as well as them, it really warms my heart.
