My name is Heather, I'm 41 and I've been a caretaker most of my adult life. It started when I helped care for my ex husbands grandmother and mother in their last years. From there, I ended up taking care of my own disabled children for the last 20 years. I have also worked as a care taker for Visiting Angels and learned a lot through them. As an environmental services worker in a rehabilitation and retirement home, they also provided extensive training for dementia and elder care. I enjoy enriching the lives of those most in need. I'm proud of consistently suprising myself with what I can learn and accomplish and the compassion and love I show to those around me.

About me is that I am a cheerful must loving person to get along with love to make the day great by sharing the love that I have to adapt to other people that might not seem the same way. I love to show that I care by helping and giving support and been there when no one else is there.

I started taking care of my own uncle who is a double amputee with severe diabetic. I had to put him on a bathing PT, and regular doctor visits. After moving back to the Bay Area I found I really enjoy taking care of others and have taken care of a few private people. Now I was asked to volunteer until my background checks come back for Moraga Royale.

I am a people person. I have a passion for caring for others. I think that stems from not having anyone to care for me when I needed it. I don't ever want anyone to know that feeling. What I love most about being a caregiver is the connections I make with my clients. My proudest moment in this field caring for others is the smile or acknowledgement I get when they see me. Melts my heart every time.

I am a 49 year old nana to 10 beautiful grandbabies. I have worked in nursing homes, and altimzers units, to lock down units. I like to read, watch movies and sing. I also have an associates degree i. Business management. I have had a cna and a medical assisgance license for over 22 years but i let it laps. I have tried other jobs from financing to repossession. Yes it may pay well but it doesnt make my heart feel the way it does when im an helling people. One thing i am most proud of is ive managed to raise 3 beautiful sons and i have had 13 foster kids. You have to patience, understanding and both sympathy and empathy to do this job. You have to care and want to help people. In the end I love the way being a crar giver feels. I love helping families take care of their loved ones so they can keep them at their home.

I have worked in the elder care field for 20 years. I love working with the elderly and being able to help them stay independent and in there homes for as long as possible. I am a patient caring loving lady, I have encountered many difficult situations in my years of care giving and i have faced them head on with an upbeat positive outlook.

To introduce myself, I'm a mother to three amazing kids, that are now adults. I've dealt with ups and downs like everyone. I'm a very caring and honest person. I love helping those in my community that need someone there even if it's just to have someone to talk to or have a meal with. My name is Carol Moore. I am a mom of three beautiful teenagers all females. I am very compassionate, loving, truthful, and faithful, loyal. Understanding. I love to listen and give proper guidance when needed. Extremely helpful, able to adapt to my environment and my surroundings. I treat people the way that I will want to be treated family is everything to me I'm grounded in my faith. Sometimes I do put myself in another person shoes just so I can have a better understanding of what they're going through. I may even cry just so that they know that they're not alone because I feel their pain as well by doing so, by putting myself in their shoes. I love making people laugh and smile to the best of my ability and I know what time some people don't want to talk and sitting in silence I I get it, and if that would bring some comfort, then I would do so.

I am a great caregiver because I take the time to get to know each and every person I meet. I can meet any special needs and provide companionship. I am super friendly, as well as patient and understanding. I became a caregiver because I wanted to be able to help those who couldn't help themselves, or needed a little push here and there.
