My ability to go above and beyond. I'm always smiling and very patient ,great listener. What attracted me to be a caregiver is just seeing how many people need help and knowing I can offer the help even before becoming a caregiver. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to see my patients smile knowing I can make they day and help them and take some load off them to relax. A personal achievement I'm proud of is making the president list in college and moving me and my kids into a new place.

I'm a very easy person to get along with. Always on time and always make sure my clients are comfortable and needs taken care of asap. I enjoy being a care giver because I enjoy being thr person that can make someone else very comfortable and able to do for them what they can't do.

I am a 20 year old mother of 2 babes ( I know, crazy!) I would prefer to work day shift but am open to anything. I have 3 almost 4 years experience in home care and I have my own vehicle, insurance, etc. I am really easy to get along with and I love people.

My passion is to help others and to give them the opportunity to live fuller lives. My husband is disabled so instead of this being a job to me it's my life. I'm prepared to do whatever needs to be done to make your love one feel comfortable. I became a caregiver because Iv always enjoyed helping others around me. So by becoming a caregiver I get enjoyment out of helping others and their families to lead fuller lives. Being a caregiver makes my heart full knowing that I'm making a difference in their lives. Seeing my patients smiling and enjoying life makes it all worth it. I take great pride in my work and love when I'm told by the family how much they appreciate what I do for their loved ones.

I can honestly say I feel like this is the perfect career choice for me. Im more of a people person very talkative but also a good listener. Its a good feeling being there for someone who may not have much time left here. The other girls I worked with literally did everything step by step like my client was a robot. It was horrible. They viewed him only as a paycheck. Our elderly people need to actually live in their life or their just gonna wither away most likely unhappy. I enjoy reading to them or them reading to me, I enjoy keeping their interests peaked throughout the day so they dont want to sleep the day away, I really enjoy their company as much as they enjoy mine I like to think. I actually make my time there about them and listen to what they have to say or talk about. I believe in this profession compassion is a must.

Friendly caring

I was raised by my grandparents and help with their care as they got older. I helped to care for my grandmother who had dementia as a companion and later with pallative care. I was present and provided support and comfort to her thru her end of life amd assisted with her post mortem care. I have since worked both in home and nursing home settings providing care to those who primarily had dementia, providing pallative, hospice and post mortem care. I have had great success with calming clients who are combative or aggressive to preform nesscary ADLs. I also have experience with diabetic care and those who are on dialysis including ports. I am a very patient and compassionate person who loves to see someone enjoy a safe and comfortable life.

I have experience working with Elderly and disabled individuals over the span of 8 years 5 of them I've done personal care and provided support for both elderly and disabled individuals. I've exercised an awareness for many ailments and challenges these individuals often face and hold the individuals I care for in high regard. I've also become the caretaker for my own elderly family members over the years. I respect seniors and have a passion for bring light, laughter, and ensuring their well being by not only meeting their needs but recognizing and understanding their strengths, and goals. I have exercised the use of Functional mobility equipment including mobility and transferring. Certifications Ive acquired that I've offen found applicable have been my Holistic Nutrition certification ,CPR, and Personal Care Aide Certification.
