With a Psychology degree, I am able to communicate effectively with both the client as well as the client's family members. I offer compassion and understanding to each individual's family. I have a strong personality and am able to encourage my clients to allow me to help them with the services that are best for them even when they are reluctant. I am able to help them maintain their dignity and independence while assisting them with their every day tasks. I became a caregiver in 2016 when my company lost it's grants. I evaluated what other avenues were available to me to share my years of counseling experiences. I decided that as a home health care aid, I could help both the client themselves and their families. I enjoy knowing that I have helped a number of people remain in their own homes with dignity and respect.

I started taking care of her from 2012 until 2014 when she lost the battle and passed. I have always taken care of people around me. I grew up in a household with many people in and out. My parents were a certified safe house for cys (OCY) in the tri-county area. I also volunteered at nursing homes from the age of 12. I have always loved keeping people company and helping with what is needed. Since such a young age I have always loved helping people.
