With previous experience working at a nursing home I'm a kind, soft spoken individual that believes in the importance of senior care. Working with the elderly population has been very rewarding. I've laughed with my residents, I've cried, and I've sat with some towards the end of their lives. Talking with them and comforting them as they enter their final stages life. It's not an easy task, however, extremely detrimental for the comfort and peace of mind of the individual. I strive to be an essential and compassionate companion for each individual.

I am a very kind and caring person that loves taking care of people. I love helping others and being of service. I'm a very pleasant person, very easy to get along with. I wanted to be a caregiver because of the love I have for my grandparents and not being able to take care of them compelled me to want to take care of other people.

I have many years of experience with the Elderly . My last experience was my Aunt of 96 passed and I had been her caretaker for 4 years . Loved taking her to the movies , for a ride , just sit and talk for hours . Prior to that I had taken care of a Stroke patient for 10 years and after he passed took care of his wife for 8 years . Daily Living Needs , assisted in helper her get washed and dressed. Administered medication, kept medical records for Dr Appointments . Transportation to and from groceries stores, medical facilities, and weekly outings to keep her spirit up . Whatever it takes to make the patient feel cared for and happy .

During the time when my grandmother took sick. I use to go and see her every day and I took notice of all these people that need care and attention that was not getting it. As time went along and my grandmother passed I still found myself going to the nursing homes helping out any way I can. That's when I knew that this was the career I wanted. My heart hurts seeing and hearing all the people that need help. I love my career, I love to see the smiles on the faces of those that I help. I'm compassionate and sincere to all that I help. I wish I could split myself up into a million pieces and help all that is not getting it. I proud of what I do and I hope that I can share it with you.

I have my masters in science I'm health psychology and km currently outing my doctorate in business and healthcare administration. I have a history performing direct care with the elderly and individuals with disabilities. I aim to use my doctorate to obtain a leadership role, so that I can assist all groups with not only obtaining the resources they need but with also making sure those resources are of high quality.

I love helping people. I just love being there for people, I'm a young single mom of a loving 7 year old whom I had at 15 that's my biggest achievement I'm proud of!
